We can be founding members of the stuck IPC club!

Just for the hell of it, I took a page from @benk016 and his success story and did the PMI for most of the other Bluecruise-associated modules (CCM, GWM, PSCM, APIM, TCU) but still nothing. PSCM had a weird update failure message, but I repeated the operation again and it completed successfully - I think I just need to do the drive straight and fast step (SSM 49545) to clear some residual error messages.

I really, really hope this upcoming FDRS server-side update fixes things...

Does anyone have more information on what exactly is happening Sunday night that would improve this process?

I believe they will be re-releasing the updates at this time. Curious if this will cause the updates to re-appear for cars that have already gotten it done. Guess that will depend on if they just edit the updates that are there, or if they are completely new versions.

Haha yup! The need to be on the bleeding edge always ends up getting you ?. I have pretty much the same experience with trying to do PMIs

Do you have any DTCs? I keep getting an "Ethernet Failure With Gateway Module A" and "Lost Communication With ECM/PCM A" that will clear but eventually come back after some driving.

Seems my run of no issues with updates is coming to an end. Took my MME for service yesterday and was offered the BlueCruise updates. It failed yesterday and today so far. They are trying again, but it looks like it might be there until at least tomorrow. Hopefully….

A few forum members and I have been working through my issues with BC and FINALLY got it working.

I was totally up to date on software, lane centering working, hands free showing in sync, but no server side activation.

Turned out to be a bug between Ford's back end and FDRS. They rushed the FDRS updates out without testing it seems.

Hopefully the next wave of updates coming soon will solve these issues

ok... so for those of us in the same position. What exactly did you do to fix it?

I would wait until next week with the re-release. This should be resolved.

TBH I'm not even sure of the whole process. All I know is that some kind of change was manually made on Ford's servers.. at that point I had to download the IPMA PMI routine without being connected to the car.

Then I had to connect the car, without letting FDRS do a network scan, so it wouldn't undo the changes on the server end. Then I ran the PMI I had just downloaded.

So... Unfortunately it seems right now that process is not really re-produceable since it requires a manual server side change.

That being said. I hear that updates are coming (hopefully next week) that have this fix baked in.

Thanks for the clarity.

Taking my very confused Mach-e back to my dealer on Tuesday. Hope this will allow them to do/finish updating through BC from the 1.7.1 Stuck issue. ?

Supposed to go to the dealer Monday for the updates… based on hearing a patch on Saturday… kinda makes me want to reschedule and see what people are reporting first and what new problems we’re going to be dealing with

am I crazy?

also, are there still no bluecruise maps? Want to figure out a good place to test
