Not that my dealer will listen to me…but my car is going back on Monday and I’m wondering what my suggestion to them should be. This is the second time for 21G01 and with the update coming this weekend, are they supposed to just repeat the original process or just update the modules that are still out of date? It’ll be interesting to see how they approach it. Hopefully I don’t just get “we’re waiting for Ford to call us back.”

As I mentioned, the dealer got my BC in with Sync 364 as well. Worked like a champ driving home. Now it does not show up. Any ideas? All settings good and on the same BC highway as yesterday.

am I crazy?

also, are there still no bluecruise maps? Want to figure out a good place to test
No you’re not, I’d give it another week. Hopefully this weekends change fixes things, but until you hear that I would hold off.

I’m normally the first person to download an update, but I’ve been sitting back and waiting on this one, and I’m glad I did. Not saying that it’s going to go perfectly smoothly when it does come out, but it certainly hasn’t up until this point.

No, no map yet. Supposedly in May, we’ll see.

Supposed to go to the dealer Monday for the updates… based on hearing a patch on Saturday… kinda makes me want to reschedule and see what people are reporting first and what new problems we’re going to be dealing with

Interstates are your safest bet for now

How weird. You have the 'Lane Centering with Hands Free' radio button, which I think means you are generally there on software. Do you have Bluecruise under your connected services on ford.com? I wonder if anything changes after a few more key cycles.
I believe this is the issue!!! I'm in a similar boat. Software installed correctly according to Dealer and Ford. But when I go to "Connected Services" there is no "Manage Button" that you see on the Nav and Plug and Charge. There is just no way for us to sign up for blue cruise.... Just wondering out loud , if that ability comes with the OTA? I have a "case #" with Ford as well.

This is one of the issues that should be resolved with the updated updates that are being released in the next few days.

Keep an eye out here, I'm sure it'll get posted when they are available.

Well.. looks like I'm in the same boat. Did all the updates this morning. On version 364, lane centering with hands free switch is on. No blue cruise ?. I guess I'll spend another $50 on Monday to try again.

In all, it took me 3 hours to do all the updates (I was on 2.1.0 before). And it took the dealer 6 days to do nothing.

Santan Ford in Gilbert, AZ got mine all done on the second try. Mine is a premium awd extrange, non- job 1, not EA. Everything works in the car and connected services shows blue cruise as active. First test drive was great, can't wait for a long road trip! No real advice except to have your service folks call Santan Ford. I gave them some advice from this forum but they got it figured out by taking with Ford and having several cars to work on.

I'm having the same issue.

Just picked up the car from the dealership. Was stuck on 1.7.1 since November.

They did all but one update for HVAC and installed Blue Cruise. On the way home I turned on cruise control it said Blue Cruise On and I selected OK. Didn't see the hands free symbol in the cluster, thought it was because I was on a unmapped road. Had to get on the interstate and when I reselected it on, nothing. It is monitoring my eyes because now it's giving me Watch the road warnings along with the put your hands on the wheel.

TBH I'm not even sure of the whole process. All I know is that some kind of change was manually made on Ford's servers.. at that point I had to download the IPMA PMI routine without being connected to the car.

Then I had to connect the car, without letting FDRS do a network scan, so it wouldn't undo the changes on the server end. Then I ran the PMI I had just downloaded.

So... Unfortunately it seems right now that process is not really re-produceable since it requires a manual server side change.
Same here. Got it all squared away today with some assistance. It works!

Who did you contact?

Thanks
I was contacted from my posts here; I didn't contact anyone.

I have no knowledge of an update coming (as others have said) so I'd say either contact Ford via their support channels to establish a case number, or hang tight until more info is released via this forum. FDRS seems to exacerbate the problem, so I'd suggest getting a case number so you can hopefully get expedited assistance from a Ford dealer/service center.

I did not have to do anything online. My dealer installed and it works.
