After July? I reserved in December and don't have a build date yet. It will be a while for orders first placed after July.
IMHO I did make my reservation in January and I don't expect delivery before March, so for those in December I would guess February delivery.

My Premium reservation is in between the two of you. April reservation date. No build date yet but that is 100% expected. I kinda sorta maybe expect delivery of that unit sometime around June ish.

Another example of why I hate to work with car dealerships...

I just received a call from my salesperson. He stated that my Mach-e (order #87XXX, order date 6-29-20, no reservation) is in "preview" status and I should have a build date by this friday. He also let me know that the dealership will need a 10% non-refundable deposit to move the order to "build" status. Needless to say I went ballistic. He said he was just passing on information from his sales manager.

I talked with the Sales Manager and he was able to talk me off the ledge. He went through a long speal on the punishment Ford placed on dealers that don't complete a Mach-e sales to the customer that placed the order. The non-refundable deposit request was a "suggestion". Like someone would give them $5K when they didn't need to.

The Sales Manager will contact me again as soon as he has a build date. I'm not expecting that call anytime soon. Stay tuned.....
That big of a non-refundable deposit before even being able to sit in an MME is horrible. That would probably be my first response to him... "I'm willing to give you that once I'm able to actually sit in one to see if I even like it first". They'd probably say no, but you'd certainly have a valid point by making it contingent on that.

I've never really heard of that, especially this late in the process. Ford has already gotten $500 deposit, and then my dealership asked for $1000 after Ford refunded theirs. I'd call the Ford Helpline and ask them about that one, I just don't get why it's a 10% non-refundable down payment essentially on a car with such high demand, you'd think they'd want it to fall through so they could add on ADM.

Wow - being in preview status is one thing but it all depends on the build date. If you do get a build date in Q1 if 2021 - it will make a lot of people mad at Ford :) - although good for you. It will be interesting to see what your build date will be and when you get one assigned - I have an order number lower than yours but close and no status on that yet and I dont expect it before summer.

Just found out my actual build date is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec 8th. Michigan, Premium 4X, First half hour reservation (11-17-19) and end of June order.
Congrats! And any estimate how long from then until delivery?

No estimates. I had a friend look it up in an internal system. I’d love to have it by the end of the year. But realistically I think it’s coming in early January (4 weeks after production).

Why can't our dealers look up orders in whatever "internal" systems you're talking about?

Some of us have exact days. Mine is Nov 19th.
Apparently the system shows a "week of xx/xx" designation when first scheduled and then later an exact date is shown in a separate column. I had a glimpse of it on the screen one time. I think it's called something different though.....maybe "sent to plant" ? When I speak with my dealer next I will see he he will show me that screen again.

As best as I can tell.....there are several different scheduling and tracking systems in use. Some newer, some older, some for retail, some for stock, some for fleet customers, some for tier one supplies, some for shipping etc.

My dealer sent me an e-mail with my VIN and I noticed it was a clickable hyperlink so I clicked on it and it took me to a system I have never seen before. Vehicle Vision or maybe it was Vehicle Visibility or something like that. It asked me for credentials and it looked just like the sign on that I use for my FIN so I entered the info and I was able to see all sorts of information about my order so I peeked around a bit and then closed the window. The next morning I tried to view it again and I got a message that said to call an 800 number which I did and they told me I wasn't supposed to have access to that and they fixed the glitch. :) Reminds me of a movie called "Office Space".....
