Order Scheduled for Production Date

I have a FE order that was (and still is) listed as "Week of 11/22".

On Monday (11/23) I called the dealer and they said that their internal system showed the production date was specifically on Friday (11/27). On the following Monday (11/30) I called again and they said that they saw it as "on the production line, but not completed", and that I would get an email from Ford when the vehicle was built. As of today (12/4) I still have no email, and the ford.com page still shows that it's scheduled for production on the original date.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

I don't think we've seen anyone with an order that's been produced be notified that it had been produced. They were only able to confirm production via dealer or other internal systems (some folks have "insider" access).

It does seem like production is a few days behind the "scheduled" day that dealers have given. Maybe try contacting your dealer again to get another update?

No change in my dashboard or any other tracking site, still says "week of 11/29/2020" and no updates from ford.

My sticker was available november 24, my build day was november 25, and it has been completed december 1.
I know it is completed because on fordtracker I have the production date of december 1, that is the date your car is completed. One day or couple hours before your date appear, you have the option to activate your MME on fordpass app.
2 weeks before thay was my dealer demo build and it was 2 days late, mine was 6 days late. Maybe yours is 7-8 days late at this point so keep checking your fordtracker it should be completed soon

I know it is completed because on fordtracker I have the production date of december 1, that is the date your car is completed. One day or couple hours before your date appear, you have the option to activate your MME on fordpass app.
2 weeks before thay was my dealer demo build and it was 2 days late, mine was 6 days late. Maybe yours is 7-8 days late at this point so keep checking your fordtracker it should be completed soon

My fordtracker still has no production date. My sticker was generated 11/20, and I was able to add the MME to fordpass by VIN a couple of days ago (maybe 12/1?)

I'm going to try the dealer again this afternoon.

Nope. Mine is an FE. The build day was 23 Dec so mine was at the end of the build week anyway. Even a minor factory delay was going to push me to the next week.

Found out my FE has slipped from 12/18 to 12/22. Hopefully no spiked egg nog in the break room Christmas week.

My Premium scheduled for early Feb is still the same. I am not going to enquire yet with my dealer regarding 1/4 FE.

I think, if Ford is forced to move the schedule around, its an opportunity for them to keep the FEs still on schedule unless all builds are shifting bey certain days.

Interesting - an update. I just went to my FORD account to check on things and I noticed that the build week of my vehicle was improved by a week - to the week of 12/13/2020. I wonder if there's now a chance of it arriving to the dealer (in NC) before year's end??

Mine went back a week from 12/20 to 12/27. Although I'm wondering if that's maybe better they are coming back from holiday versus possibly feeling rushed to try and finish in a short week.
