OTA Powerup Software 2.6.0. First update in a while.

It worked! After driving about 15 miles I got the 2.7.1 update. Two updates in two days!!

i just got my 2.7.1 after doing a drive today! Im also 2 for 2 now!

Hopefully it will succeed after another try. I think I probably was in bad cell area and was on a short drive.

I hoped… Alas there was no retry today. Just sitting failed like 1.7.1 did.

I was happy to get a communication from OTA as I thought they forgot me. Unfortunately, 2.6 reminded me what I already had.

So does Blue Cruise mess up lane centering for everyone or is that just the light ones? I'm supposedly getting my car back after being gone for a month tomorrow. I was stuck on 1.7.1 now they say it will take OTA updates and have installed BC.

I'm hoping I'll get the 2.6.0 and subsequent updates soon. I'm just wondering if I should be looking forward to exchanging lane centering for BC?

I am in the ‘me too’ crowd… 2.6.0 has landed after MANY months of nothing since 1.7.1

I had BlueCruise installed by dealer a month ago in my MME FE Job 1 and it just got an OTA to 2.8.2 today. I declined the invitation to the EA program, so this OTA must be rolling out generally.

Not sure what happened over here but the FordPass app says I’ve successfully updated to 2.6.0 but the car settings still show I’m at 2.1.0
Really confusing if it updated or not.

You might want to reach out to see if your car is communicating correctly. Something might be wrong with the modem or gateway I think.

Everything else is fine
Unlock, lock or start the car via ford pass works without problems.
I saw in the Ford widget ios app that it tried to install 1.7.1 several times.
Yesterday was the last attempt.

My car is now at the dealer... I hope they can fix that.

Glad to hear the updates are rolling out again. Ford execs were saying that they need to do more on the software front.

We got 2.7.1 yesterday. Warned my Wife about the “ new brakes “ coming up next!

Happened to me, too. It showed the correct software version a day later - which was also when i received 2.7

I noted 2.6.0 the other day. Still at that this morning. Mine is set to only update one day a week. I tried update now, but that said nothing available.
