2.7.2 (brakes) came in last nite.

If it matches 2.4.2 it should update the charging curve as well. Can anyone confirm increased DC fast charging above 80%?

I got 2.6.0 yesterday. I like the full-screen Apple CarPlay.

I was stuck on 1.7.1 for several months. Got the APIM replaced Jan 31, so got 1.7.1, then nothing until Apr 9 when I got 2.1.0. Didn't get 2.3, yet?

Ok my failed 2.6.0 still hasn’t retried, not sure what’s going on or how long it usually takes to retry

Same here, I fired up the car to drive it around the corner and park somewhere else, and I think it tried updating and failed. Really wish we had more control over this, hoping it won’t take another week or more. Drove for several hours today across a couple of trips, and no update.

Do you have one of the widgets? They will show you the OTA expiration date, usually one week after the initial attempt. Don’t expect a second attempt until after the expiration date.

I don’t think Ford has any idea how disconcerting it is to see countless success stories while we toil over 2.6.0 in agony. Of course having been in the 1.7.1 crowd just makes it doubly disappointing. My evening drive is now complete with no retry.

I got unstuck form 1.7.1 beginning of April. Got my first update about 2 weeks after. 2.1 which failed because I already had it from when they upgraded me with the 1.7.1 fix. Monday I got 2.6 and hours later 2.8.2. I now have full blue cruise and a notification from ford that my warranty started. Blue Cruise is active. The only thing I don't have is lane keeping assist with handsfree in Sync. I was told you need that to turn on Blue Cruise but I don't have that option and I still have Blue Cruise enabled. All is good so far. I was not in any program or EA.


Update 5/18 Just received 2.8.3, so three updates within 2 days.

Yeah that’s how I know it was 2.6.0 that failed, ugh, crazy we gotta wait a whole week. This process is so dumb.

FordPass alert that it will update 2.7.3 tonight at my scheduled time.
No sign of 2.7.2…

You can have more control if you turn off Auto Updates. With that radio button in the off position, then your car will let you know when an update is ready. Seem like it downloads the package and then waits for you to initiate the installation (which is the part where I presume the auto updates normally fail....)

It's pretty simple. You get a notice on your FordPass when an update is ready and you also get one in the car. You can install the update from the car or from the app.
