I can confirm with 100% confidence that the APIM update does include EV Charge Assist. No Youtube or Karaoke included in this update for vehicles that don't have it.

I'm more surprised I didn't hear about that. A member on the F150 forum with a 2021 did the APIM with FDRS yesterday and I have the APIM files. He didn't get YouTube. The gurus on the ICE forum decompressed the only 211 file and all they saw was charge assist in there.

My Public Charging App on screen hasn’t worked in a while so I guess this update will fix that.

I havent taken the APIM update, is that coming? I have gotten 3 in the last week. Charge Assist (Public Charging) still there but still useless. I already had youtube and kareokee.

I don't know of anyone that has gotten it OTA yet. Only a few people with FDRS.

The 2021 I got the files from also has Youtube and Karaoke. I'll edit my other post.

Edit: On the F150, the update also shows all the blue zones for Bluecruise and also driver score stuff that wasn't there before. It's a huge update!

I did get the GWM (gateway) OTA update on my MME that was the 'zero byte' update that was essentially a config change. This is the one that says it's getting the system ready for future updates. Nothing since, and nothing in my queue (or available software list either).

These are pics of my app and entertainment screens with my current Sync (26.2.1.6.5.2) OTA from 27 Mar 26.

So I have "Public Charging" now which is what I think "Charge Assist" becomes. I never use it since when it first came out you had to pull over and stop the car to use it to locate chargers, and now the nav system will show you all the chargers while you're in motion. So...

BTW on my Lightning the screens are similar, except for the things you would expect to be different (like Pro-Power, towing, zone lighting, etc).

The truck has gotten the GWM and the TCU updates that are part of Update 12 but is still waiting on the APIM update to be certified for release. So it's not in my OTA queue or available to apply using FDRS yet.

EDIT: Oh and I noticed on the linked mention of this OTA coming out on the ICE F-150 release notes that "Stingray Karaoke" and video streaming was available. Yeah, I've had both of those things for a couple of years now...so not sure if that is something they just now added to ICE F-150 or what....but it's not new for me.

Great to see some small but practical improvements that 2021+ owners have been clamoring for!

I hope they enable charging power displays to work inside the car or at least get FordPass in CarPlay so we can see the kW speeds.
