We’ve had our MME for 2 1/2 months, 1000 miles, and haven’t tried the parking assist. Anyone try it and how good does it work?

IMO it’s nice but unnecessary. I would prefer having the car pulling in and out of tight parking remotely.

Works fine. Not new technology.

If there are 6 empty spaces, and then a vehicle, it will park next to the vehicle. I will park 6 spaces away.

Works fine but will raise your blood pressure and cause anxiety. It will get SUPER CLOSE to cars. Closer than I would ever be comfortable going but it's done it flawlessly so far- don't use it all too often though.

The only bummer is that it apparently has been confirmed it doesn't use line markers, it uses cars to figure out how to park. So it can only park next to another car and will try and space you evenly between two cars regardless of the lines. Really stinks as I'd like to use it in a space there isn't a car next to!

Ok, that makes me feel better. I first tried to use in in a purposely empty lot where I work and I swear it always tried to attack the curbs before I shut it down. That and it would scan the empty lot, say it found a spot half-way through and then back all the way up to the end spot with the curb. That makes more sense now why it behaved like it did.
