With the few mods I've performed requiring the Mach-E to be lifted off the ground, I tried out a few of the universal or Tesla-specific jacking pads which didn't work out to my liking. I've set out to design and produce something specific for the Mach-E.

Of the two designs below, please submit your preference in the poll.

I also welcome you to provide feedback and changes to the designs.

Option #1 - Round

The part of my floor jack that lifts the car is round, so I'd prefer a round puck.

Someone somewhere must already make these?

+1 round so it'll fit in a floor jack. But does the MME have a nub? I remember the Bolt did so people used an S10 jack. For the MME, I just use a shaved hockey puck at the pinch points.

There are some universal ones online but I think most people go the hockey puck route since they're dirt cheap and free to mod.

Mach-E has a round nub on the front, and an ovular nub on the rear. These are measured to fit the Mach-E, with nub sizes matched to front and rear.

The nubs are 1mm oversized and should keep the jack puck in place even while driving.

Love it! I would buy a pair (1 front 1 rear) for single tire repairs but if they can stay in all the time why not all 4! What material would they be?

I was considering generic ones and a toggle bolt to hold in place but I like this better

I too thought about making something with a toggle bolt, and then decided to just see what the interest would be from the group. Might be able to get something made that's a unique fit for the Mach-E.

I'm running a few of the locator nubs on my 3D printer right now to ensure the tolerances match what I've measured.

The final product would be made of a solid rubber - similar to a hockey puck.

I purchased Tesla ones but then didn't use them. In the rear they seem too loose to stay in while driving. I was hoping they would be tight. So I didn't even try the front.

The Tesla ones I didn't use:

I used these front and back after cutting off a slice.... 5 minutes with a handsaw. They have stayed in thru a winter and summer now, no problems. I did put a piece of red tape over holes, and X-ed so the edges would fold in on install, cover the sharp edges and helped the install with a little 'clearglide'.

so.... I'd vote round, with an offset nub so no mod is needed, and a little thicker than the Tesla pads so jack doesn't catch rail.

The Tesla pucks have an open center in the nub to allow significant compression when installing, which expands on the inside of the rail to lock them into place pretty darn well.

My jack fits in without the pucks but having custom fit ones installed full time world be great for the trip to a tire place etc. They typically have to be supervised full time to avoid damaging something, and last time was missing 1 of 4 pucks they typically used for a Tesla. 2 other locations wouldn’t even touch the car when they saw they couldn’t use their typical setup.

+1 for 4. Hopefully permanently attach them too.
