Power-Up 4.x software updates should begin rolling out

I have just been advised that my recall updates will take a day and a half. Anybody else have that?
My dealer said that is how long it takes to get the software updated.

Yeah... I'd love to have lengthy conversation with those that manage the SW rollout process. Why not global rollouts? would be one of my questions... along with questions around why not include all the modules available for update in FDRS in the OTA process...

Probably just wishful thinking but my car just went a little crazy when I started it. Did its little runaround of hill start unavailable, camera, etc. Hopefully it is working on a nice download behind the scenes....

Two reasons off the top of my head:
1. To avoid breaking every car out there in the case something goes wrong. (Which just happened to some of us.)
2. Server capacity limits.

These are two reasons computer OS updates are sent out in waves.
