It's pretty rare for the Ford account to say *anything* so I think everyone should head it's advice.... so, everyone please Send in-car feedback about this issue! Whether you already have the bugged display, or if you are boycotting updates because of it, or if you don't care but want to make for fix this for everyone else!
Is there a way to send a question to a Ford rep, and get an answer? Thanks!

I just got this f'n update last night and now my speedometer is no longer centered. WTH!? I don't want the car in the center. I want to see my speed front and center. Is there a way to fix this?
With you. In about 4 hours I will be getting the offset speedo, too. Thought about shutting down updates, but that does not seem like a good idea to decline updates for which I dont know what they all do. I do not need BC or Lane Keep; so at this point I do not see a need for an outline of a static car in the center of the display.

May I remind Ford that when I paid for the car, the display did not look like this.

The control Ford has over my property is one aspect of EV ownership that I really don't like. How far might they go?

I mean couldn’t you say the same thing about your phone, smart TV, laptop, tablet and practically anything else that gets updates? They usually don’t benefit from sending out software updates that make the user experience worse.

I submitted my feedback about the horrible speedometer placement change. I hope everyone does the same. I am pissed enough to get rid of the car because who knows what the hell Ford will do next with zero input from the f’n owners. This is a BIG fail from Ford and I hope they correct this ASAP!

Yeah, CarPlay connects about half the time. Always works via USB.
Yeah, wireless CarPlay is garbage because the system always reenable Bluetooth after it has been disabled. It’s like owning a Windows PC…please reboot to fix.

It worked fine for over a year until the 6.x updates.

Got 6.8 yesterday. Had to run the blower to get the LVB SOC to 81% before starting the update. It dropped to 72% afterwards.

My #1 IPC design change request would be to move the cruise control set speed from above the speed limit sign to below it. Some of us keep the seat high and the wheel low where it blocks the upper corners of the IPC. Including the CC set speed. Just moving it below speed limit sign would take care of it.
I'd move it right below the "ground speed" line. So we can see it in comparison to actual current speed.

I’ve sent in feedback multiple times on this. I started as soon as I saw that job 2 2023s were shipping with it. I knew it would be pushed to us eventually.

I’m not ready to get ride of the car yet, but this change has drastically reduced my enjoyment of it. It makes me sad to get in the car now and see the bland screen that used to be so nice looking. If I wanted boring I would have bought something else.

There has been a change to the graphic design in the cluster display resulting from Software Update 6.8, and we appreciate your feedback which we will consider as part of our future updates. Please continue to provide feedback on all aspects of your ownership experience using the Record Feedback function.
Thank you for acknowledging the change. Is there any word on whether this will be fixed in a future version? I have sent in feedback a few times on this issue, but it kind of feels like talking in to a void when there’s now follow to the feedback.

I should also note that I did modify the IPC with FORScan when I got the car to have the GT power bar and replaced the compass with weather. Those settings in the as built held with the 6.8.0 update
This update removed the GT power bar I added with FORScan. The foot to open rear hatch still works.

LOL. Very true. I suppose updates are good....must be good? Yes? I dunno...if they are seamless, ok. I may be becoming my father, "Why would I need this?" My old V8 cars didn't receive updates and I loved those cars till the day I moved on. My Mach-e was just fine the day Ford sold it to me 10 months ago...perhaps with the exception of the HVBJB (time will tell). You should see me scramble when Microsoft keeps trying to change my Outlook and Teams to the new look version. They refer to my version as Classic. Im happy with it, though. I do a slow burn at my desk cursing the software people ("You guys have nothing more to do than make changes...heh") while I click to reinstate the old familiar look that I like and works just fine for me. Haha, I think I must come off as Tom Hanks in the film A Man Called Otto. A good watch if you have not seen it. Hanks is very good in it.

I do hope I do not wake up to an update that has removed the metallic flake from my carbonized gray paint.

BTW, I have been a part of many automobile forums over the years. This Mach-e forum is by far the best group of members I have ever experienced!

So after a few days with the revised IPC layout, it's not as fiery doom and gloom, I'm not going to get rid of the car.

BUT, I mean what a strange design choice to put an icon of a car right smack in the middle that does nothing, at least part of the time, if not for some all the time.

I hope there was some grand master plan we are all just not aware of to build out the layout in future updates, but my gut says this is likely not the case.

I AM glad the crazy overly-long battery meter is gone though. I do personally prefer just the percentage.

In the end, though you clearly can't please everyone so boy it'd be great to have maybe a couple / few customization options. I mean, user customizable, not through some Ford specific dongle/software

Hey Ford, could you provide a list of the UI modifications in 6.8.0
