I don't really understand. The lady that called me from the SUV team last week said we need to wait and do nothing for now. I'm going to contact my service advisor and the lady assigned to the case and see what she says. I will be super pissed if they swap it out and it has the same issue...

BUT this could be great news for anyone with the noise. They may have solved the issue and may be willing to replace them under warranty!
Probably just another instance of poor communication. So now they're saying everyone's is "malfunctioning"? I doubt they have a different version to give you which doesn't buzz.

Probably just another instance of poor communication. So now they're saying everyone's is "malfunctioning"? I doubt they have a different version to give you which doesn't buzz.
They have known about the issue for a long time so it is possible they have resolved it by now.

It's Ford you need to convince. No dealer will replace the IPC without Ford's authorization.

You should definitely let Ford know you are having the issue. If you go to a dealer, they’ll certainly notify Ford. But I have no idea if that’s the best way, or if you should just notify Ford customer service. You could try sending a DM on this forum to @Ford Motor Company.

He can’t say. But apparently it’s good news. I hope he isn’t letting us down.

I'll be eagerly awaiting reports from anyone who does get their screen replaced. We've had one or two folks in the past have theirs replaced to find the new unit has the same buzz.

I was told by my dealership, @Ford Motor Company , and Ford Customer support via phone calls that there was nothing to be done.

I talked to my service advisor this morning. He said they hadn't heard from Ford yet and he'd look into it and call me back.

They told you to start the buy-back just as a loophole in the process so they could fix your IPC or you intended to actually have them buy it?
