You use solvent to bond acrylic, not super glue.I found a cost effective way to get a piece cut-to-size with acrylic ($10 for quantity 1, $2.36 for 5+) with $7+ shipping:

To make a slip-on enclosure with 1/4" acrylic, In bulk (quantity 10+), the price for side pieces would be $1 each, with a $1 top piece, ~$1.60 back piece, for a $7 total materials cost, not including some super glue. Factoring in 2-way shipping costs, the cost of a kit would be ~$15? Maybe $20 at most?
Is anyone interested in taking on managing a group order or putting something more polished together and selling for a slight profit?
Count me in if a group order gets put together. I’m going crazy with this infernal buzz. I can easily hear mine over music and A/C.Is anyone interested in taking on managing a group order or putting something more polished together and selling for a slight profit?
Its not possible. Stop giving bad unsolicited advices. It's not that bad if you don't focus on it.
Eric, you sound like a paid troll from Ford. They are clearly want to gaslight us, and you are supporting their strategy. It is, think about something else
Someone had said a while back that Ford was working on sourcing a revised buzz-free screen, but I don’t know if this was accurate. I’m sure they *eventually* will source a new part for new Mach-E builds since I think it’s fair to say, this is such an unacceptable characteristic for a modern LCD screen.@Ford Motor Company , is your chosen strategy to ignore complaints and gaslight customers to believeig the buzz is normal?
I understand that for older folks in Ford management and engineering it looks like unreasonable whine, because they just don't feel our pain. But believe us, it is very real.
If it actually fixes the issue, I will be showing my local dealership this thread and message and I will NOT leave until they do exactly what these people did.Update...Ford just messaged me this:

I don't really understand. The lady that called me from the SUV team last week said we need to wait and do nothing for now. I'm going to contact my service advisor and the lady assigned to the case and see what she says. I will be super pissed if they swap it out and it has the same issue...
BUT this could be great news for anyone with the noise. They may have solved the issue and may be willing to replace them under warranty!
