Does anyone have the dremel cutting guide printed that they could lend me? I'm in California and would cover any shipping costs (I can send pre-paid UPS label). I'm having the Stealth Hitch installed next week and would LOVE to provide the cutting guide to my installer. I'll then get the covers printed at a later date.
Sure thing. I'll send you a private message.

Hi, @MurphyDog, Your plan is solid if you can find the guide somewhere, but be advised that you'll still need to be prepared to loosen up the bolts to re-center the hitch around the cover that has the cutout for use when the hitch is installed. The bolts need to be re-torqued afterward -- it's an expensive torque wrench if you don't already have one laying around.
Please do carefully read the instructions about installation and centering the hitch over here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5847251

I suppose if your installer is very precise about centering the hitch left/right and forward aft, within the cutout, then you might get by in one go without having the benefit of the cover with the hole in the middle on hand to act as a guide. :-/

A few have asked, and unfortunately, I haven't found any "hobbyist" types that can print the cutting guide, due to its 340mm widest dimension. That part only needs to be PLA or PETG, so it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg even with commercial printers, unless they're only doing MJF process such as with nylon. Then it will still be costly. :S

The flexible covers (TPU 95A) may also be a challenge to get printed by a hobbyist type, due to the 288mm widest dimension. Many cap out at 250mm wide or less (especially if SLA / Resin process). Even my own high-end printer is rated for 300mm x 300mm, but it takes a lot of trickery to get this part to fit. :S

Good luck. Wish I had the time to print these off for people. Even if I did, it's the opportunity costs that are the problem as I have many other projects going and these parts occupy my main two printers for at least two full days. :S

Is anyone able to send me a printed dremel cutting guide? I would cover shipping costs. I'm still looking for a commercial company to print the covers, but I figured why have that delay my install if I can source the cutting guide from someone who no longer needs it. Thanks!

Same request! Anyone got the cutting guide lying around and can ship that to me for a fee? Would love to use it and not have to print one out, but of course if I do I'll circulate it amongst the community.

I'll look into people/places that can print out the cover... I'm getting this stealth hitch installed on my MME GT '22 soon!

Mine had some good use between me and a few others in the forum. Unfortunately, it finally broke when the last person used it. This system is worth the effort to get it printed. I wish I could make one for you, but my 3d printer best isn't big enough. I still use my covers weekly and they are holding up great. Everything looks so good when mounted.

@AEtherScythe oh hey actually I'm getting the Stealth Hitch rack and tow combo installed and I now see that this isn't yet compatible with that. Would you be able to adjust the design for the rack with towing kit? Not sure if others would benefit but I would ?

Thanls! It's a 2016 Madone w/ ~64,000 miles on it. Overdue for replacement. That's more miles than carbon fiber is intended to withstand, especially having been subjected to Michigan's crater every two feet crappy roads for the majority of said miles! :-/ #FixTheRoads!!!
Ah Leon you deserve a Ti bike next go around although it will be a tad heavier. I switched over to Ti and ain’t going back to resin based bikes. I see on occasion some killer deals on lightly used Ti bikes which truly help dampen these knarly Michigan roads. Nice to know there is someone else here getting doubletakes when zipping around with their bikes on back of their MME.

I have installed two of these so I am somewhat familiar with the dimensions. I don't so any reason why the tow package would not work with this cut guide and cover. The only thing that wouldn't work is the cover for when the hitch is installed. But that cover is not really necessary if the hitch is only on temporarily. The cover for the opening when the hitch is off is the main reason.

When using the tow package hitch, the brake light connector is all the way to the left which would not really allow room to put a cover as the brake connector is so close to the edge of the opening. My thought would be to proceed with this cutting guide and both covers. Then you can use the hitch cover when only using it for bike rack type use and then just not use a cover when towing. Just my thoughts.

@AEtherScythe - Thanks so much for doing all the hard work to develop and releasing the models publicly! I used Corvallis3D to print all 3. It was about $95 with shipping. The covers fit so well! Definitely a professional look, fit and finish.

If anyone wants my left over cutting template, let me know.

FYI - if you order directly from Stealth hitches, you can have them swap in the 1- 1/4" receiver instead of the stock 2" one by just mentioning it in the notes of the order. They left off the "bolt bag" and fish wires in my order, but quickly shipped it out to me. I think they were in the 2" receiver box, so perhaps reminding them to include the bolt bag.

So the installation went well and I'm ready to pass on the cutting guide that I printed to whoever needs it next. Hmu if you'd like it sent to you for shipping and fabrication costs, let's say $20 from the $50 I paid a guy to print all 3 pieces.

They couldn't get the cover to fit with the tow chain hooks poking out of the bottom. The cover for use when towing will need a couple more holes in it to accommodate for those.

I don't have mine anymore or I'd offer to send it to you. You will still need to print the covers so you might as well print the cutting template as well. It shouldn't add much cost to the total order. These covers are amazing. It is one of my favorite upgrades on the Mach E!

Good point! Did you use an online print service or self print? 🙏
