I've only recently started to notice a thud (knuckle to wall sound) on the back right. My wife sits in the back right with the kid in the carseat in middle. When I'm by myself, no sound. Might be able to see a split starting to form on the NE of the bar in this picture. Can't tell. Time for me to buy a jack.

Would it make a difference depending on the setting used. For example I left it on the softest setting and I noticed yours is the stiffest.

Hmmm, I haven't noticed any thuds or similar with mine (100% stock GT except the Steeda front and rear bars set on the firmest setting). I have noticed that the suspension has started to squeak a bit at low speeds on the 25% grade hill while pulling into my driveway, but I don't think that's the bars... But we rarely have passengers in the rear and usually if we do, they're pretty lights (less than 120 lbs each).

The bar is solid steel. It won’t be a split unless something terrible happened.

A factor affecting our experiences can be the size of our batteries... mine is the Extended Range battery, hence permanently more weight in the rear.

That’s true but Steeda tested this bar on their GT and every member I know that have the bars are in cars with extended range batteries.

My fix was a slightly longer end link. I made one up because I needed it quickly using center tube/rod from Eibach and adjustable ends from Steeda so it matched the front adjustable end links Steeda provided (in appearance) with the front bar. You really don’t need to get an adjustable end link if you find one that’s 1:2”- 3/4” longer than the OEM. I never went into detail about this back in Feb because I thought since I had lowered the car 1/2” I was the only one with this issue however it seems when two passengers are in the rear you might have this issue also.

Yeah gotcha. Well, with the KW coilovers, there is obviously less height as well, whatever height value the KW springs are adjusted to.

I might post about this on the KW thread as well.

After further inspection of the sway bar I found no signs of hitting. I believe the noise is coming from the (plastic?) rear hatch panels on the right side.

I inspected my rear bar when I put the Koni shocks on and there was no evidence of damage. I almost never have passengers in the rear or heavily load the back, so that could be why I don't have the problem.
