OP, were you a 1PD user in your MME? I am wondering how the German’s 2PD (w/mild regen) compares to the feel of the MME.
No, I’m one of those people who hate 1PD. I tried it many times over the last 4 years and it just feels wrong to me. Heck, I ever prefer 3 pedal drive (manual).

The Taycan feels a lot like whisper mode in the Mach E. Very mild regen. You can put it on “auto regen” which uses radar for the car in front of you and slows down when you’re off the throttle.

But in normal driving it just coasts. Definitely programmed differently than the Mach E. It is more efficient coasting because unlike the Mach E it can completely disengage the motors.

Taycan is nice EV, just a bit out of my price range, but the used ones are coming down in price. The much faster charging speeds and the looks are why id do the same. The range i heard isnt as great as the Mach E though.
City range is worse. Highway range is definitely better.

Gets over 300 miles range in a 75 mph cruise test.

It’s because of four things-
1. Two speed transmission
2. Range mode that completely disengages the front motor
3. Low coefficient of drag. 0.22
4. Air suspension that lowers the car and helps with drag.

Who drives 75 in a Taycan? What does it get at 80 mph?

Less.

But still better than the Mach E.

75mph seems to be the standard for independent range tests out there. Either way, it’s one of the only vehicles way above EPA range tests.

Here is another with a 70 mph test-

Pretty impressive at 305 miles considering the EPA range is only 235.
