Thank you -- that's what I thought I remember.
They don't retract anymore. Oh, I can manually push them back down when the car is off, but when I turn the vehicle on, both wipers actuate, with the passenger-side moving into the same weird position. And this is with the wiper stem still in the off position.
Dealer problem. Need to have it checked out. Mine wipe and wipe and stop and then a few seconds later retreat back into the wiper cave.

Just wanted to update and close out this thread.

A week after I picked up the vehicle from Fairview Ford regarding the glass recall work and discovered the trim issues, door clicks, and off kilter passenger-side wiper, the door strike replacement parts arrived.

Fairview gave me a rental for the day (keep in mind I do have an extended warranty with enhanced, 1st day rental coverage) and notified me 8 hrs later it was ready to pick up. All issues, save the stuck OTA 1.7.1, appeared resolved.

To sum up:

- 21P22 was properly pushed (thanks to @breeves002 for confirmation!)
- OTA 1.7.1 will be rectified this month, or like everybody else in this stupid boat, I will be asking for an APIM replacement as the ultimate solution on March 1.
- The glass recall was done by a 3rd party glass company contracted by Fairview Ford. In my view, their performance was subpar -- even though the glass work itself looked fine -- because they caused collateral damage necessitating repeated subsequently trips to the dealership for:
- trim repair
- proper reinstallation of both wipers
Because I located my vehicle via FordPass during the glass recall, I know which glass company I'm not going to on my own volition, and will recommend against to friends and family.
- shout out to the service people themselves at Fairview that I dealt with, they're the silver lining on this little adventure.

The dealer or body shop are usually the ones to remove and reinstall the trim, headliner, wipers, mirror, etc. The glass company likely just did the glass work.

You could be right. But my service advisor appeared to imply that the dealership's body shop corrected external mistakes. I could be misinterpreting what he meant, but I'm just glad it all turned out OK.

Now just waiting for the mothership to issue a fix for the APIM issue with ota 1.7.1.

Thanks for posting this thread. Becasue you posted this, when I picked up my car today, I took a good look at this trim peice by the dash. Sure enough mine was misaligned too. So I got them to put it back in place before I even left the dealer.

Thank you @WildfireOne for this post. I picked mine up as well today and I checked this, the windshield wipers, the lining, the lip where the windshield and roof meet, all because of posts like this. All was fine but wouldn't even know to check if you didn't post. Appreciate it.
