Hi there, Jim! Are you experiencing this concern with your Mustang Mach-E? If so, can you send us a DM with more information so I can look into this for you on my end?
Just saw your reply. Thank you for that. Yes, I even called my dealer months ago to ask him to pass it up to Ford. I have, in my estimation, excessive wind noise emanating from the top of my windshield. Was hoping it would be addressed at some point by Ford. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you evaluate this on my Mustang. Thanks again..

So I have just received a call from my dealer informing me about a pending windshield and panoramic roof recall for my MME (build date May 24, 2021). I should receive an invitation letter to schedule the appointment in November.
So Europe is no exception to this recall. ?

I have this problem as well. My roof was not installed level from side to side, such that on the passenger side there is about a 1/4 inch or slightly more elevation of the roof relative to the windshield (and in the rear as well). This results in noticeable wind noise from the right side at speeds of 40mph or so and up. I reported it to the dealer and they noted it as a manufacturer's defect in my purchase agreement (though they thought it was windshield misalignment, not the roof).

I just had a stone hit the very front edge of my pano and it created a curved crack about 10in in area. I since looked at many other cars that have a glass roofs and all of them that I looked at have a steel area of 12 to 16 in above the top of the windshield so the glass roof area starts almost horizoinal to the top of the roof, thereby advoiding stone damage that the windshield cannot. MME is BAD design! Mine was build 2/15 so will not be in the recall. I am hoping my glass coverage will cover replacement. Otherwise the only complaint I have is the bouncy ride on some roads, funny at 70-80 mph it can at times feel like it is gliding and very smooth!

We will likely receive a FordPass notification (or can check out accounts online). The CSP Recall for PaaK appeared in my FordPass app long before I received a letter. Right now, no recalls are listed for my Mach E. Of course, only time will tell.
My ford account also shows no recalls… I wonder what the reasons are for these recalls… I have not seen details But will look for them

this recall won't fix that, so you might want to see if they'll do something about the misalignment. As the panoramic roof recall only says to assess and ADD sealant to the roof as needed

This recall has the potential to be a logistics nightmare. Dealers typically do the recall work, yet how many dealers have glass shops? That mean finding glass shops, probably off site, that can handle the work for the dealers and yet still adhere to Ford’s guidelines.

Certainly not insurmountable, but still a logistics hassle.
My dealer has already replaced the windshield on my car. I think they had the glass shop people come to the dealership to do the work. Not sure though....I will verify.
I have another stone chip in the windshield again 8 months later.. I wonder if the glass reseal recall applies to me since my windshield has already been replaced? Will this next one be free or do I need another insurance claim?

This may have been mentioned here but while we think Safelite will do the windshields for us, do we think they also do the roofs? Or will that (unfortunately) have to be done by a Ford service center?
I think your Ford dealer will coordinate all that for you. Just take it to them and they will handle the rest I presume.

Wouldn't water intrusion be a first indicator of a potential problem?

A poor seal should allow water in, should it not?
I think wind noise would be the first clue.

There is no panoramic roof removal involved in that recall.

Compare the remedy above to the Windshield recall remedy:

Remedy

Dealers will remove and reinstall the windshield, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 27, 2021. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 21C22.

Also note the differences in numbers. Not every car with a windshield recall will be subject to the panoramic roof recall.
Agree. Just says reseal on the notice in FP.
Has anyone heard anything about these fixes resolving the wind noise at the junction of the windshield and the panoramic roof?
I am sure that is where this all came from in the first place.

My Ford Pass just added the 2 Recalls today - 21S42 and 21C22 for the seal on the roof and windshield.
Same. Both recalls appeared in Ford Pass. My car was assembled Nov 18th and has a Nov 19th build date in the PTS system.
