I think the real name is Accelerator Pedal, but that's way too long to type. I'm fine sticking with "Gas Pedal". I kinda like keeping some of the legacy terminology alive.
Legacy terminology is good....that's why we still have "horsepower".

Although, it's still literally relevant of you drive a Mustang. :D

Instead of whip, wouldn't bridle be the proper "horse" term for gas/go/throttle pedal (accellerator)?

With the advent of regen breaking and 1-pedal driving, I've thought even "accelerator pedal" isn't quite right...

A bridle would be equivalent to the steering wheel.
Doesn't that mean Unbridled should be full self driving?

I don't know if you can change it, but time will tell.
I believe you can turn off the voice and leave the approaching turn warning tones enabled...I think Kyle's @OutofSpecKyle review available on OutofSpecMotoring on YouTube showed this....in Sync3 this is possible.

It's interesting to hear that the music is killed completely when the navigation comes on. I rather like the approach in our Leaf, which turns the music down but doesn't kill it.
I agree - Though I doubt I'll use the built-in nav much (unless it's required to precondition the battery when going to a charger, after the update they're supposedly coming up with). Carplay is generally smart about dimming music, or stopping podcasts/audiobooks.
Exactly, i use navigation on Apple carplay and the music volume dims ever so slightly...
that's how the audio ducking (*) worked on Sync 1 when I had it, MFT now, and Sync 3 now - in all three cases, the audio drops to a lower volume while the nav speaks. I didn't even notice in the video that was different here. I wonder if that was a customer research thing?

feels like something easy enough to add a configuration setting I'd think.

(*) I'm not quacking up; that's the term.
Fyi The audio isn't killed, it does in fact dim. If you listen at the :55 for the first video you can still hear the music while navigation is going just really low. Maybe more noticeable as I'm wearing headphones right now though

Well it’s a darn good thing the Ford team back in the day didn’t decide to call the car the Ford Badger then.

“Nothing drives like an angry badger.” That just never would’ve caught on.
