Has anyone taken the service plan out? It looked quite expensive when I confirmed my order so thought I'd leave it and talk to the dealer. The dealer can't even tell me the price of it right now though....

I did just sort out my finance after pestering the garage for ages. They quoted me too high to start with but adjusted it down when I told them the rate that the Ford website originally offered. I only mention that in case anyone missed it and didn't check. It made a difference of £50 a month on a 4 year deal for me.

Status is still in production despite having an early VIN (I pre-ordered fairly late but I must have picked up a cancellation!), and I haven't received my Ford Pass yet.

Dealer advised my date is 22nd May and extremely likely to change one way or the other. He didn't know the mobile number for any of the ship captain's either....

There's not much to service and the prices are poor and very short term unless you do low annual mileage. They are published earlier in the thread by me.

Also the wear and tear option doesn't include tyres so not much else to cover by it!

Primary status changed back to in production today ??‍

Wow my status has changed again to awaits shipment. That's 3 changes in as many days. Thinkbsomeone is definitely doing something with these cars ?

LOL - so weird. Mine has been sat on the loading ramp all weekend, and yet has been stuck on "In Production' for days with no change.

Also my issue with the low clearance has not been solved but I have it confirmed in an email from my dealer that he will honour the fully refundable deposit if it does not fit onto my drive. That has relieved some anxiety for now until that crunch moment with their demo ?

Got this email as well tonight at 9.30 like a few on here. Haven’t made any changes to my order and can’t see any online. Only recent development for me has been finally getting initial finance agreement.

It’s typical that I’ve been moaning about not getting emails from Ford when I wanted them and now I’m getting them when I don’t! ?

Will speak to my dealer on Monday but guessing aanother in a long line of IT hiccups...?‍

Ford support doesn’t know anything as well.

Just shows its not the gospel on the tracker until someone at the plant pushes a button I presume. Great that you can see it still though ?

Its allright for you guys with actual cars you own - even if they are in the middle of the Atlantic or on a quayside somewhere in darkest Mexico. My tracker still says In Order Processing and has done since I first entered the VIN number. Any suggestions whose arse has to be kicked would be greatly appreciated. I first placed the order in December 2019.

PS I have attached a photo of my other Ford engined vehicle. A 1952 Andrews Slipper launch which I keep on the Thames at Windsor. She has the original 1172cc Ford 100E sidevalve engine out of the Ford Anglia model before the one with the rakeback rear window.

I've checked the online manual, nothing to worry about, it's just detected an unauthorised Ford Pass activation and gone into self destruct mode.
