Got my charging card today
. My Primary Status on the tracker is still "In Order Processing" with no other dates. Seems the First Editions are being held back for some reason, despite my Pre-Order was one of the earliest placed on 18/11/2019! My dealer told me today Vista was showing production estimated at 06/03/2021 (10 days ago was 01/03/2021) so will definitely miss the February boats!
Like most of you the long wait has taken the shine off things. Now considering saving £9,950 by switching to a RWD ER in Rapid Red and getting 379 miles range vs 335 miles with the FE. Don't think the AWD is really worth the extra £10k, especially since I will probably retire from working by the time I get the car (and therefore do less mileage) and don't need AWD where I live. Do like the red brake calipers on the FE though, but I'm sure alloy covers will be available as an after market. The rest, 18" vs 19" wheels, adaptive headlamps, body colour wheel arches, blade front grille, FE logo on step plate, etc, are mainly cosmetic and I can live without. The only thing holding me back is having to wait further for another order and whether the RWD handling and ride will be as good as the AWD ER reviews I've seen. Anyone else with an FE order feel this way?
