Got my charging card today :) . My Primary Status on the tracker is still "In Order Processing" with no other dates. Seems the First Editions are being held back for some reason, despite my Pre-Order was one of the earliest placed on 18/11/2019! My dealer told me today Vista was showing production estimated at 06/03/2021 (10 days ago was 01/03/2021) so will definitely miss the February boats!

Like most of you the long wait has taken the shine off things. Now considering saving £9,950 by switching to a RWD ER in Rapid Red and getting 379 miles range vs 335 miles with the FE. Don't think the AWD is really worth the extra £10k, especially since I will probably retire from working by the time I get the car (and therefore do less mileage) and don't need AWD where I live. Do like the red brake calipers on the FE though, but I'm sure alloy covers will be available as an after market. The rest, 18" vs 19" wheels, adaptive headlamps, body colour wheel arches, blade front grille, FE logo on step plate, etc, are mainly cosmetic and I can live without. The only thing holding me back is having to wait further for another order and whether the RWD handling and ride will be as good as the AWD ER reviews I've seen. Anyone else with an FE order feel this way?

I think the ship date is when it exits the plant and is parked up ready for transit.

In transit is when it then leaves the car park and is on route to the docks.

Grahame might know better.

My initial assumption was that exactly. But having followed the tracker for a while I am begining to doubt this. Some of us on here have had ship date in January. I can't see that these cars would have gone to the docks nearly a month before they were due to be put on a ship. Unless the plant has an agreement with the docks they would have incurred port fees for all of the time that they have been there. Also, if what I have been told is correct, the dealers are liable for the cars once they leave the plant and I doubt very much that any dealer would be happy to pay for the car while it is still in Mexico. On a ship and on it's way is a different matter. I have come to the conclusion that second guessing what the factory and Ford are doing is a waste of time because every time I come up with a theory it gets shot down. I am thinking that on Monday 22 Feb, if she sails on time, I will make enquiries to see if I can find out if my car is actually on the ship. If it is then that is all I am interested in. 4 - 6 weeks delivery if we are very lucky.

I think based on the port fees i'm adjusting my logic - ship date is when it's in the car park, finished and ready to ship. Then when it moves it is 'in transit'. That would make more sense.

I'm hopeful the ford pass distribution to uk and other places in europe is a positive sign that shipping is soon.

One of our orders is similar, has a ship date of 28th Jan, transit date 03 and status is "in transit" has been the same since order was placed at end of Jan. Originally had an ETA end date of 4th Feb. After the date passed the ETA end date changed to 1990-01-01

Dealer systems show it as "gate released" on 26th jan
The google sheet has that down as 26th Jan not 28th? That's your friend's car?

can we then conclude that Ship date = Gate released date on the official dealer Vista system

Those people who have a change of status eg 'in transit' or have new dates or date changes... have you updated the unofficial dirty dozen progress document ? Which is now 30ish!

If you haven't your car could go rouge like Wonky's did.

Yeah - mine’s so rogue it’s still showing as “In Production” despite all the shenanigans ?

Apologies my mistake
Ship date is 26th Jan both on tracker and on Vista. Gate release date was 25th Jan so the day before. And yes, it's my business partners car. My own car is still showing as "in production" on the tracker and "assembly offline" both with a date of 10th Dec on tracker and in Vista respectively

Can we mere mortals access the dealer Vista system? If so - how? I am so frustrated that my car ordered in December 2019 is still showing as In Order Processing on the Tracker. Perhaps it will show as something different on Vista or is that just a pipe dream?

Hi Graham, unfortunately us mortals cannot it is dealer access only. From previous posts apparently the Mach E Concierge also cannot access it!

My dealer has been kind enough to send screenshots from Vista that he has access to for myself and my business partner when he confirmed our orders.

And yes. Vista should have more detail. For example my previous cancelled order still shows as "in order processing" on the VIN tracker but Vista showed a planned build date of 14th Feb
