Hopefully by the time ours land at dealers, Ford will have come up with a fix. They have some time to figure it out.
I remember now that when I went to see the car in December the 12v battery had also run out of juice completely so none of the internal electrics were working. They said it was down to the previous people looking at it, using up all the juice by playing with the screen. Seemed a bit odd to me at the time for an EV (no previous experience of one) but was assured it was totally normal.

I just hope that there is an easy fix for this battery issue like a software update. If it turns out that it is something major there is the horrible thought that they might put a stop ship order on cars that are still in Mexico. NNNNNOOOOOOO. So close yet so far.

Most things can be fixed by software updates. Unless its a catastrophic major design fault, if its hardware error, it would be dealt with at the dealer service department via recall or work prior to sale.

As you said, it seems to be happening in extreme cold so we should be ok here.

So I have found my VIN using @Wonky_Donkey method (which is great work by the way) but when using the tracker I get the below, it doesn't seem right to me??

What are the last 5 digits, is that the actual VIN which I am guessing still needs to have a build date to get from the dealer anyway? Just eager to get my VIN which I don’t have yet.

Looks normal to me - it’s what I would expect to see if a car was planned, but not fully scheduled for build yet. Keep an eye on it - sure it will update soon :)

Ah ok thanks just the dates bit looked odd as I ordered in Jan 2021 so wasn't sure on the receipt date being last year?
Also just guessed the ETA date was a standard entry when there isn't any data to display.

Some dealers are giving us prints of the vista screen and some are not. Most dealers are giving us 11 digits of the vin (usually that is all that is shown on vista) but there are some that will only give you the last 5.
If you get 11 then the best way to get all 17 digits is to add WF0TR1 for RWD and WF0TR3 for AWD.
If you only get 5 then use the spreadsheet to get all 17. You will only, however, get any numbers if your car has been allocated a build slot. Best of luck.

So the receipt date is when Ford Europe bulk uploaded all the preordered cars onto the system for production. I think most of us here have a March 2020 date in that box :)
Looks like yours was added a bit later in the year (probably the original order date)
