This is all starting to look like it's now heading into June.

I've made specific plans for May including a considerable amount of financial preparation.

The end game just comes across as getting longer and longer. Continuous goal post shifting.

QC is starting to sound like a load of bollards, actually it always did.

It's fixing all the problems with the cars that were built in a clearly incompetent factory. Just my opinion. Either that or there's some design issues.

What's the issue now. The sun roof?

The vista date is always week ending and usually a Saturday, so in theory it could be delivered to dealer anytime from the Monday. My dealer thinks that they might be doing PDI's in Antwerp if you go by the destination code, ANT QPDI , which would just leave a clean and sticker removal. Who needs a handover. We probably know more than most dealers. PDI'S don't take long anyway. My current Kuga came off the transporter at 1345 and I collected it at 1630.

Thanks, I will check with my dealer tomorrow. I'd need some notice to organise payment!

Other than myself is anyone here in the first Grand Huston delivery to Antwerp which was around 22 March?

Yes my business partners rapid red SR RWD was on the Grande Houston. No news from dealer yet, originally he'd said that his and my Immacolata shipped car will be delivered together mid may I'm sure mine had now moved to 29th like Grahame. I'll update when I hear more.

The sad thing is Ford prob don’t care. They’ll take your car, sell it at full price and make an additional £3k on top as they won’t need to cover the Govt Grant out there own pocket......... the cynic in me wonders if that’s there new plan!

Hate to say it, but you could be right.
They are really testing our patience. Hate to see those that been waiting from the beginning to be throwing in the towel, or considering it.
Its unbelievable that a global manufacturer like Ford can show such contempt for its customers.
After being positive with my test drive, we seem to get kicked back again.

My dealer had a couple on the GH and they have gone to 29th as well. Had an email this pm from him.

I will have to check with my dealer as i'm under a completely different impression about the time scale. I will want information and answers as to what is going on.

As I've mentioned before, my only real concern about a delivery delay is the fact that my part exchange valuation expires on 15th June. If/when I hear from my dealer about a change in delivery date (currently w/e 29th May) I will tell him if the p/ex valuation is any less, I WILL be cancelling. Because a) the valuation was on the low side anyway, and b) the delay isn't my fault so why should I get overall a worse deal?
Given that my MME is on the Florida so not even in Antwerp until later this week, I think 29th May is EXTREMELY unlikely! And 15th June will be pushing it!

Not wishing to bevthe doom and gloom bearer, my car has been in Antwerp since 30 March and my delivery date is also 29th May (at the moment)

Mine is still saying W/E 5th June - but who knows how accurate that is? That would be about 6 weeks after arrival in Antwerp but it was a later produced car so maybe some faults were rectified at the factory.

Are you on the Florida? I was told last week mine is due week ending 29th May, but surely we would get ours at the same time if we were on the same ship?
