So the Celestine has just docked this minute in Dagenham. Be worth to do frequent refreshes on Remote car set up to see if any activity occurs.
It's not solid proof cars will be in dagenham but should carry some strength.

EDIT

Well I gone to compound in at some point so that screwed my theory !

VMACS Status Description: COMPOUND IN
VMACS Status Code: 711
VMACS Status Since: 2021-06-26 10:23:00.0

Although mine has changed 5 or 6 times since arriving at Antwerp

I have asked my dealer for an update but not going to hold my breath on that!!

I think I need to see if my mate can do a 3d print!
Looking at the original US thread it looks like it needs to be a specific type of plastic flexible enough to manoeuvre into position, but if there was someone in the UK that could print a batch it would be likely to work out cheaper than sourcing from the US.

I’ve seen somewhere that this f12 data takes 2 or 3 days to update, so my interpretation would be that this COMPOUND IN is arrival in Flushing. If you WERE on the boat to Dagenham that wouldn’t show on your f12 until Thursday/Friday. The better thing to go by is the tapps changes, if you get changes before the boat leaves, then after the boat arrives, AND there is only one hour between tappsdate and vehicledate, then you’re in Dagenham!!!

Yeah it looks bendy/rubbery from the image on here.

So I seem to have a big difference in these

Vehicule last started on (tappsDateTime): 2021-06-26T07:39:52.472Z
Vehicule Date Time (vehicleDateTime): 2021-06-25T21:59:05Z

I have asked my dealer for an update (again) so if they do bother to get back to me I will let you all know!

Many thanks to you all for your thoughts - that's really kind ??

It appeared to be mainly the sound, so your thoughts on the brakes could be the problem - and it's interesting there are similar US threads.

I will take the OPD off and give the brakes a good work out in the morning ?

Thanks again for all your help,
David
I did wonder about how exclusively using OPD would affect the brakes as the usual rust from washing/rain etc would not get cleared off the discs.

Please let us know how this goes.

Give it a few hours - maybe until 12 to see if we get a tapps update. The Compound In and VMACS Status is old data and by all accounts, is lagged.

Agreed. I am looking at the Tapps date now. Not the compound in date.

Im hyping myself up here for nothing lol. (Reverse Psychology) lol

First post here! I went to have a look at the MME here in Bristol today and asked the dealer about a tow bar. He said that they were on the price list but weren’t available yet and probably wouldn’t be until next year at least.

However, I can see a couple of posts here where people are saying that the dealer will be fitting one. So what’s the deal?
Our dealer was Evans Halshaw in Hull. They recommended a local firm but suggested we wait until they had some experience with the MME. Of course, they don’t get that experience without actually *doing* it so perhaps there’s an opportunity for a discount here.

Did you get your car? This is my dealer as well. I understand you perfectly what you talking about. Yes is best to wait a bit.

hi I live in Hull and I am waiting for delivery of my MME, have you got a black one as the only MME I have seen is a black one a week ago, I called in at your dealer to see if they have one to look at unfortunately they had been delivered to customers funny though he said the owner knew more about the car than the dealer lol, what model did you go for?

Hi all,

Well the good news is that normal service appears to have resumed ??

I switched off OPD and drove up and down a small cul-de-sac nearby in forward and reverse with lots of braking (they must have wondered what was going on ?)

There was a fair amount of "clanking" and noise from the back and it probably took a couple of minutes or so before things quietened down, and then I did a "high speed" run with some hard braking.

I also flicked the electronic parking brake on and off half a dozen times when stationary.

So once again, thanks for your suggestions and help - at least we now have some first-hand experience of this potential problem ?

PS: I hadn't realised quite how loud the "pedestrian warning noise" was until driving up and down the cul-de-sac!

PPS: the "normal" brakes also felt good, and were not at all "grabby"!

Yes, we got ours a week ago, fully charged and ready to go. Ours was the third out of that dealer, apparently.

I'm in Immingham and we have the SR-AWD in Red. The local Ford guy was here yesterday to deliver my van back after a service and said they'd never even seen one.
