OK - so I apologise in advance - this is gonna piss some people off, and give others hope.

I ordered a RWD ER a year ago, and I was lucky to be in the early build run. My car was built on 3rd December 2020 and is currently undergoing final QA at the factory.

I have an estimated delivery of mid March 2021 (my web order placed last week said 14-16 weeks)

Today I received the VIN number and my FordPass App has allowed me to add the vehicle.

In October but getting SR AWD so not a popular model I think.
There are some ER vehicles with 14-16 weeks as well. The only difference with the FE is colour coded wheel arch, "First Edition: marked scuff plates and colour coded upholstery stitching. Nothing there should affect the production line at all.

It's a monumental screw up by either the factory or Ford UK in allocated orders and I'm not sure we will ever hear the truth as admitting liability will mean they would have to give us something!!

great review. his 70mph test came in at 2.1miles per KW which in my opinion means battery size is very important.

and it's not just a great review, it's very helpful for people like me who are going from manual to auto. it's the first time I have understood due to that demo the one pedal driving.

it's close to a training video at the start for beginners.

I think you're lucky going straight into this from a manual. I actually think it takes long term auto drivers to come round to the completely different way of driving.

Looking at most of the video reviews on You Tube, they seem to be very positive and all but a few say it actually deserves the Mustang brand

Fantastic! I believe this indicates your vehicle is BUILT and now you are just awaiting transport from Mexico.

While I've added my vin to FordPass, my vehicle isn't built, yet. So I don't see the activation option in the app.

I haven't watched the whole video, what are the alternating flashing purple lights on the steering column?
Those are the monitors to keep track of the drivers eyes to ensure they are paying attention. These are not visible to the naked eye. This will assist with hands free driving (an OTA update some time next year)

I’m back in the game.
new insurance quotes are coming in at around £620 not the horrendous £1700 that I was quoted.
Just put in my full order for MME AWD ER in Infinite Blue.
be interested in your delivery date once you have it!
