Yes but not as bad as that. I just have one smaller strip similar position to the 2nd from right in your pic, though I only noticed it the one time. I assumed the references to windscreen recalls are to resolve this?
I think this is one of the reasons for windshield recall.
This is what my last email from Ford said.

We have recently identified two quality issues concerning the windscreen in your vehicle. The first issue could affect the function of the heated windscreen, which will be evident in cold weather conditions when the windscreen clears unevenly and takes longer than intended to clear completely. The second issue is a longer-term corrosion risk to a connector fitted to the windscreen.

Has anyone had this - seems heated screen not working in part of windscreen ( in front of driver sods law ) Not arranged window bond recall - as I have Pano roof am I correct in thinking they replace the windscreen when doing that ( why though ? )

That is the exact reason quoted on the recall.

I have a very thin line dead in the centre of the windscreen but thought it was where the two elements meet.

I understand that Graham and your correct but the branded key is pretty fundamental and PAAK even appeared on Ford UK website in a video.
I really don't understand why you say that a branded key is "fundamental ". Although it would be nice to have a different key to the bog standard Ford key, my key stays in my pocket 99% of the time. It only comes out when I change trousers. It really isn't an issue.
As regards PAAK, they were expecting to offer it but it failed to meet the standard set by Thatcham/insurances companies. You can hardly blame Ford for that if it is accepted everywhere else. According to my dealer they are looking into rectifying the issue. Reading the reports from the US it is riddled with problems, so I don't think I would want it anyway

Like I said Graham, if your happy with your lot then no need to reply.

I want a branded Mustang key whether it spends 99% of the time in my pocket or not.

As for PAAK being an insurance issue that is Ford BS or they can’t be bothered getting it right.

Tesla, BMW, Polestar and Volvo, to name but a few, offer this technology on their models no problem. ??

This is the one that is recommended

https://www.theocdplug.com/shop/p/mustang-mach-e-155

It fits perfectly- I bought one and it's fine. See here-

I bought one from Amazon (different make) DO NOT do this. I don't know what car it was meant to fit but it wasn't a Mach-E ! That went straight back and I bought the US one. Fast delivery as well.

Tony, is it easy to fit? I usually screw up when fitting protectors for my phone and leave air bubbles inside.

Wow - kinda feeling blessed mine works ok.

On a separate note did everyone see the specification change for any new cars assembled after 3rd Jan 2022? No more hands free boot opener. :(

So glad I’ve got this feature. I struggle to get it to close but that doesn’t really matter.

It opens first time every time.
