Maybe this is why I'm not getting OTAs? Do you know if this is the 22P25 update previously mentioned or another one?
This update is a newish one that came about after the HVJB issue - but yes it’s 22P25

In the USA they were able to roll out the 22S41 update that allowed you to continue to drive the vehicle after an HVJB failure via OTA, but here in the UK we have a bespoke alarm system that meant that update couldn’t be rolled out OTA without setting the alarm off.

That’s why we had to go to the dealers to have the HVJB software update applied, and then this subsequent update was issued to sort out the problem of triggering the alarm system if the BCM module needed updating again in the future.

So long story short it’s a new update that didn’t stop any old SYNC updates, but will help any future updates to a very specific software module that doesn’t get updated very often o_O

We're not doing too bad at the moment with the SYNC software - it's primarily BlueCruise that's the biggest and most obvious missing feature when comparing to our US friends.

On the latest UK SYNC version (22228-539*) we have everything the US guys have with the exception of BlueCruise and YouTube streaming. I must admit I was surprised we got the Alexa integration as soon as we did - I thought they may hold off on that one for ages.

Obviously the other "missing" stuff is hardware option specific like Phone As A Key etc - but that was a build decision taken by Ford and isn't part of the SYNC software.

(*Note: SYNC Version 22228-Rev 539 is not available via OTA at the moment - rollout date TBC)
Great profile pick @Wonky_Donkey!

I still don’t have the electronic Frunk opening which is the main thing I’m waiting for at present.

Looking for some advice.
I ordered a GTPE in Iced Blue back in January which was built early August and arrived at Dagenham in mid-September. I was given an October delivery (no specific date) which came and went. My dealer then gave me a November delivery (no specific date) but told me the car was on "technical" hold. November came and went so back to dealer I went and was told it was now a December delivery. Today I got a message from the dealer it is now a January delivery. What is going on with Ford? It feels like they are taking the p***. How can a car be in the country for over 3 months and they still not deliver it? Getting very close to the point where I'm going to cancel the order and get a Kia EV6 GT instead.

I would imagine, ahem, that you could quite easily get a speed of 115mph up hill, perhaps...maybe... Interested to see if anyone else has 'imagined' any top speeds over the stated 111mph max for the RWD SR?
I had 100mph speed limit sign showing in the road sign recognition area once ??‍♂

Send me a DM with your VIN and I can look to see if there’s anything on Ford’s systems that might indicate what the issue is.

Thanks - I took it while on holiday this summer in Cumbria on the Honister Pass near Buttermere

I still don’t have the electronic Frunk opening which is the main thing I’m waiting for at present.
If you ask your dealer very nicely they should be able to add that for you now. I've checked FDRS and the update is available for your vehicle....

Where is that pic from? It's kinda interesting as some aspects of the photoshopping have been done really well (like the speed readout!) - and then the Sync screen "warning" less so. Curious image :)

If it was a dig at my earlier pic with a really high GOM reading despite the cold weather... in my defense I had just finished updating my PCM (Powertrain Control Module) with FDRS and as part of that it reset all my driving history. No fakery here - 'normal' numbers will resume after a few miles being driven..... and yes I get super paranoid about stuff like this ??

Hi Wonky no dig intended. I am in a photography club and we recently had a competition with the theme 200 or more. This was my effort - combination of several images and some photoshopping. And no it did not get thought to the final stages of the competition but I enjoyed making it.

Good clarification. Better than what I got at the dealer call centre.

That sounds like fun - it’s a great image. I miss challenges to be creative like that. All I can say is you were robbed for not making through to the final stages ?

I've checked my VIN on ETIS and 22P25 isn't showing for my car! Is it possible it was done the same time as the HVJB software fix?

It’s possible - I’ll check your record on FDRS when I get back home later this evening.

Further to my last post - Yes - they were both completed on your vehicle on 27th September 2022. I've sent you a direct message with the screenshot of the work history for that day ?

This might be a dumb question, but I'm new to all this a week in to having my Mach E
I've got it charging on my Zappi at home, and the Zappi app is telling me it's added 7.7 KWh so far (been on about an hour) and my Ford pass app is showing 6kwh - why would there be a discrepancy?

Thanks and if it's really dumb, I'm sorry!
It is a usual thing for any charge point, AC or DC, to show a greater kwh reading of delivered power than the car/app reading of received power. This is due to the loss of power due to the transfer from unit to car, the heating of the battery to the optimum operating temperature to accept the maximum power. I have an OBD11 plug linked to carscanner Pro app which tells me what kwh I receive at home is usually about 6.4 kwh. Don't worry about it, it isn't a problem.

My beauty with some beasts just now charging at Trumpington Tesla. Is there a setting in the car that restricts speed or is that up to the charger? Was getting around 56kw/h max.
