I'm just going to pretend the last few months haven't happened and stick with the end of March date I was given back then ? Ignorance is bliss

If it doesn't arrive in the 21 plate zone of 01/03/2021 - 31/08/2021 there will be hell to pay (as well as £££ for a new plate!) Maybe I should reserve "MY71 MME" just in case

I'll tell you what. If we have to wait that long there wont be anyone buying this car any time soon. I just don't understand why anyone at Ford thinks that it is good customer relation practice to treat us like mushrooms (kept in the dark and feed s..t). If they were upfront and told us why these cars are so delayed, and they can't put it all on covid, I for one might be prepared to cut them some slack. But no matter who we talk too at Ford their attitude remains the same.

Never mind Ford customer service. I tend to look to @Wonky_Donkey and @portlandg for helpful advice and the occasional theory!?

Ford can’t even tell me why I got that email saying that the specification of my car had changed when it hadn’t. Apparently they’re carrying out an investigation and will get back to me by Wednesday. I won’t hold my breath.

For same case they told me that I will receive call back till 5pm next day, and that was last Monday. Still waiting for a call!

Hi All, ordered my car a week or so ago expecting 23 week lead time. Pretty confused as after getting VIN it seems I may have got a cancellation and could end up with car much earlier than expected. The Ford.co.uk site however diesnt reflect this, it only states ordered. I guess we will see what happens.

That definitely looks like a cancellation car to me. There will be a few people upset to see this.

It may come up for grabs again as excited as I am about this car not sure I can justify sending my current lease back 3 months early.

That's odd. As Grahame says definitely a cancelled car that you've managed to snap up.

When I picked up a cancelled order that was already built the ford.co.uk account jumped straight to "in production"

Maybe this means in production and goes green once complete?

Certainly been an interesting read on this forum seeing all the speculation.

That's how mine looks. Green on "your order "and that bluey colour on " in production ".

Yep mine looks like that too. My first order the "in production" was not solid blue and was empty like the "on its way" circle
