How long did it take most people to change from "In Production" to the next stage?

My Mach-E AWD ER has been in production for 11 days.

Yes, Yes - I know I need to Zen-out and develop some patience!

Mine still sitting on order confirmed. My build date was supposed to be 8th Feb.

OK just looking to change my order. My car is meant to have been build last week but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been. If I change colour I can have it in 10 to 14 weeks which takes me to the end of May, but I was told mine is due end of May...Will I be getting it earlier or not?

probably even Vin Wonky wouldn't be able to predict that outcome! How would you change the colour?

Yabadabadoooo Guys! I checked the tracker this morning and it still said In Order Processing. I have just checked again and it has changed to In Production. That's 14 months after I put in the order. Looking forward to getting my Carbonised Grey First Edition sometime in the next decade. Perhaps I will get it in time for my birthday in May. Build time - say 2 weeks; Waiting quayside time - say another 2 weeks; In transit to Europe somewhere (I don't think they come directly to UK) - say another 2 weeks; Hold up due to Brexit fiasco - say 4 weeks; On second thoughts perhaps I am being optimistic anticipating delivery sometime in May. Any thoughts please...

does that mean Spencer might have a change to in production too?

If you won't miss the £1k deposit for a month or two then just put the second order in. I did that, waited for the second order to show in the dealer systems with and ETA, and then decided to cancel one of them based on build/ship dates etc. I kept the same colour. It's worth keeping an eye on the ford order site, you may even pick up another space white cancellation like I did.

My business partner did the same as he had a short ETA anyway, but wanted to change from Iconic Silver to Rapid Red.

Both times we had no issues cancelling one of the orders and getting our deposit back.

Finally got some long overdue movement on the VIN tracker for my Black RWD ER (December build). Changed this morning from ‘In Production’ to ‘Awaiting shipment’. No new dates yet, but one for the google sheet @Wonky_Donkey

My experience is you’ll lose the slot and your time will go out to 20 weeks plus unless you are lucky and you get a cancellation. Even if Ford tell you otherwise.

you won't until you get your new delivery date. Ford Concierge said by email that my delivery date would not be affected, changed my order and then told me to check the details with my dealer. My dealer then came back and said you're now due for delivery end of July.

They display different lead times depending on colour and spec so you'd hope the lead time quoted has SOME correlation to reality but with Ford and a new project?... who knows...

So which boat is it on? and which boat from Belgium to Norway
guess there are a number of other cars on the same boat ... which end is not confirmed in Tracker due. "fix" in Belgium - on early completed cars - typically FE cars ... which Ford can not release data on until they know are ready ...
