Absolutely, this is exactly what I said, not more.
It obviously is not related to some problems found on the cars on the manufacturing line (or on delivered cars that would request some changes on the cars that are manufactured and not delivered).

I have the feeling that if anything needs to be done to fix cars, it will be on all EU/UK cars, so this does not explain why it would be 2 weeks for EU and 5/10 for UK (unless someone lies to us and it is also going to last 5/10 weeks to get our cars).

Frankly, I doubt. You mentioned that they might have found something on delivered cars, so there is no chance that this would just affect RHD cars, as all cars delivered at this time (excepting pre-prod models) were LHD, so that does not fit.
I have no doubt that if the potential extra delay in getting the cars over to the UK was solely down to Brexit red tape then Ford would be shouting it from the rooftops. That’s what most companies have been doing.

The silence from Ford is deafening on all this but until we have some official dates then all we are doing is theorising using very limited information. I suppose it helps pass the time...?

Someone please let me know which is the best for maximising range.
Someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Ford are on record saying it makes no difference. Each will yield the same efficiency, so long as your driving style is the same.

that's as I remember... but as the mapping is more aggressive the style would be more difficult in untamed and easier with gentle driving.

Exactly right... each of the three drive modes will entice a certain driving style out of you. If you’re getting the same efficiency out of Untamed as you are on Whiper or Engaged, then you’re doing it wrong! lol

I have contacted my dealer and he believes it isn't a major issue delivery to dealer is still expected mid May.

I would in my opinion consider replacing the 12v batteries or the buzzing screen as not major issues. That's just dodgy parts replacement. Major issues for me would be with critical things like the main battery as for a start this is fairly untried technology.

I conclude no-one should at this point panic and start cancelling orders. Just my opinion.

Mid may - how many weeks does that work out from Antwerp or today?

This makes for interesting viewing. Still saying that PAAK is only available on LHD versions. At about 19.40

Hi everyone- first post, and I have a couple of queries!

I am strongly considering a RWD ER as that fits our needs perfectly, but...

1) is it really right that there is no choice of colour other than Black?
2) I really need the car to have the £3k grant or else it becomes unaffordable. So am I right in thinking that if I choose silver, say, it'll effectively cost me £3800??

Also no way am I prepared to order without a road test and inspection. My local dealer (Vospers in Truro) has told me they can do this later in the summer as they have a few on order for stock and demonstrators. He's promised to keep in touch. We'll have to see...
Anyone else think the same and has anyone had a road test- or received their car?

I think there will be loads more questions!?
Stay safe everyone and look forward to the end of lockdown.
