Other makes as well as Ford
The only reason I asked is because you and davkd both say your dealer registered your cars on the portal. If they sell other makes it might be that they are clued up on the PICG process already. My dealer only sells Ford's and as this is their first car that qualyfies(or did anyway) I think they didn't know about the process and were waiting for guidance from Ford.

Well, I’ve got some good news in that I’ve managed to get a test drive booked for Glasgow on the 17th of April.
Dealer wouldn’t tell me anything about my car as I hadn’t ordered it through them. Not a problem though as I know it’s on the Immacolata and due to arrive mid May thanks to Hannah.
Here’s hoping for some good news about the picg as well??

Off topic and looking to the future I emailed Gridserve on Friday to get their thoughts on us having a meet in Braintree 1) When we get our MME's and 2) Covid restrictions allow. They seem up for it. They have got some third party events planned for when restrictions are lifted which, although it is a public access site, they have asked that I run it by them first. I said that it was only a tentative enquiry, it depends on numbers, when we get our cars and when restrictions are lifted. Seems promising.
I just listened to this EV Musings podcast interview with Gridserve. You may find it interesting:

I think you could be right about that. Plus he is good at his job which is why I didnt pick 2 other dealers within my area who have shown in the past to be too unproactive/relaxed or lacking in customer care.

Evenshalshaw failed to turn up to pickup my car for a service and didn't give a toss and refused to even care about my complaint so I went with this lot and it proves it has been a good choice.

Your dealer was obviously on the ball if he registered yours for the PICG.
That’s what he’s telling me. Registered in February shortly after I ordered it.

He has been excellent recently. Updating me without being prompted.

Quick question, I know its been discussed here in the past but dealer fitted Tow Bars, has anyone actually ordered one yet? If so, could you let me know whether that could be fitted in the PDI process?
I have the tow bar on order, It will be fitted by the dealer, I am not use what PDI is?

While twiddling my thumbs, thought I pass the time doing online chat with a Ford advisor. Basically she said there still waiting for a decision, and will have an update as soon as possible. We will receive an email or update on your ford account. She will look to email me Friday or earlier if any news.
So it looks like still wait and see.
On a bit brighter side. Managed to pre book a viewing at Orpington in April. Got wait confirmation as anyone ordered are going to order with them will get preference. My dealer not getting viewings.
Let's hope some good news comes soon.

My dealer is not responding to my e-mails asking for a delivery update.
My Order was made 11/12/202. I Don't know if the PICG application has been made
My purchase was through Trustford @ cribbs causeway, Bristol.
Trustford is wholly owned by the Ford Motor company.
Anyone have any thoughts vis-a-vis the PICG?

Hi, Michael, I've ordered with Trust Ford at Cribbs too. I have had quite a few emails to and from. I'll send you a direct message and we can work together if you like.

all the best

Jon
