On another note, the £3000 discount is now missing from my order page on Ford. It was there last week.
Mine disappeared over a week ago but I would not worry too much now we all know that Ford have guaranteed those cars ordered before 17th March that qualified for PICG will receive the grant or Ford will match the discount. My account shows my car in production but I know and Ford have confirmed its in Antwerp. So has been said numerous times on here the Ford information is somewhat lacking ?

This was the full Ford Concierge out of office over Easter in case anybody has any doubts:-
Hello

Thank you for your email. Our Concierge service is currently out of office until the 6th April. Your email is important to us, we will get back to your query as soon as possible.

If you are emailing in regard to the Government Grant removal, please see below:

Thank you for your continued patience. I'm pleased to say I have an update for you regarding the Government Plug-In grant situation.

We are actively engaged in discussions with the UK Government to extend the provision of the Plug-In Grant for both Transit Custom PHEV and Mustang Mach-E orders taken up to and including 17th February. These discussions are ongoing, but in the interim, the continuing uncertainty obviously leaves our affected customers in a difficult position.

It is our belief that these customers should be entitled to the Plug-In Grant that was available at the time they confirmed their order. To that end, given that there is no indication at this time that the Government will pay the grants for these orders taken up to 17th Feb, we will instead pay the full grant amount.

With this action, we are able to confirm that eligible Transit Custom PHEV and Mustang Mach-E customers that have confirmed orders for eligible vehicles up to and including 17th March will benefit from the Plug in Grant they would have expected when they placed their order, either through the previously announced Government provision or Ford.

We are currently in the process of collating the required documentation to ensure that the subsidy is applied to qualifying orders.

Kind regards

Hannah

I thought I'd share my plans for Solar and charging incase any have an interest.

I have a 3.35Kw system on my roof on a Feed in Tariff (FiT) and I have also added a 3.75Kw system to my garage. My house background usage is around 600watts excluding large current items. Even on cloudy days I generate a surplus between 10am and 5pm. On a sunny days I might generate more than 20Kw/h surplus which goes to grid.

I plan to use a Zappi to measure two solar sources against the overall house usage and divert the surplus to the car. I work from home so many days the car will be outside at peak times. Even on cloudy days I generate a surplus but obviously much reduced. I did look at diverting the power when the car was either full or not present in to hot water but I can't make the money pay. I already have vacuum tubes which heat the hot water on a sunny day.

20Kw/h will be around 80 miles per day which is far more than we use. I have to exclude November to February as generation is low and the odd day when the car will be in use. Part of getting the big battery is to give us larger scope between 20% and 90% but obviously I can override this to add safety margin when I want. I still get the full FiT for all I generate.

If we are doing a longer trip I'll charge high and plan to arrive home with around 20% and build from there. Realistically I hope to get over 50% of our miles from solar between March and October as in the summer I will probably have too much and need to top up in Autumn and Spring.

We'll see but that's the plan.

In the future what I really want is a Vehicle to Grid solution so that we can use the car to cover peak usage (Cooking early evening for example) and then use the Octopus agile tarif. I'd then set a minimum charge over night but allow for solar surplus, less peak usage. That's when it gets fun!

Thank you for posting your plans.

I'm in a similar position, in that, I have a solar installation on my house roof. I too have opted for the Zappi as it is the best charger for solar (interestingly it does not require an earth rod so it might be useful to non solar customers).

I was hoping to get most of my miles between March and October from the sun.

Either way it will be a lot cheaper to run than my ICE!

Hi,

At the Norwegian tred checked our Ford Account we got intressting status hidden in tekst.
Do you want to check our findigs? - to se if Your accont displat same status?

Your Ford Account :
PC F12 Network/XHS/Name field

Look for:
order-status?vin=WF0TK3SUXXXXXXXXX&countryCode=NOR
Click in Response field
Copy (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) to text editor

Check: (like mine, but dferent dates codes combo):
{"result":{"vin":"WF0TK3SUXXXXXXXXX","order":{"type":"order","number":"1004XXXX","contractSource":"Web","gobStatusCode":"STRT","gobStatusDesc":"SentToPlant","vmacs2CharCode":"92","vmacs3CharCode":"721","vmacsStatusDesc":"COMPOUND OUT ","vmacsStatusDate":"2021-03-01 14:45:00.0","gobStatusDate":"2021-02-06 16:27:08.0"}},"error":null}
I keep trying to do this but can't get anywhere.

When I press F12 and refresh all I get is XHR. If it then go into that and select 'order' field it gives me my VIN and all the details of my car but nothing else.

I'm using Microsoft Edge. Is there a problem with this or am I doing something wrong?

I have exactly the same so it's not just you. There isn't XHS only XHR

For all of those you, like me, that according to Ford definitely wont have a car on the Grande Florida, it's just arrived at Davisville. I for one will be tracking this ship even though my car is enroute to Nigeria on the GSM and is definitely definitely not getting loaded onto the Florida in disguise as a Ford Transit! ;)

the shipment tracker on the other Europe thread - I have just tried that and it confirmed the Grand H for me and discharged the ship into Antwerp on 20/03. a wonderful tool for anyone looking for info rather than the concierge facility.

I am thinking of re-writing their press release..... turning it into fact rather than insulting my intelligence spin!

Hi, Guys.

Have any of you had notification your car is built and 'on its way' about 26/03/2021?

I can't find any information regarding the shipping of my car even though I have the VIN and 3 numbers that could be the order number.

I’m using Edge and can see the same details regarding ‘Compound in’ by scrolling along under Response...although to be honest it doesn’t make much sense to me!?

The main thing is I know my car is currently in Antwerp....I think!?
