My question on the keys, are they still going to go to sleep when not moving to help prevent cloning? If they are reusing old keys I am unsure if we will have this feature.
Good question and one I will ask tomorrow but I have a sneaky suspicion they answer from my dealer will be don't know but I am thinking not, unless the new 'old style' keys do have that function. I will ask another dealer tonight what the new Kuga PHEV keys do

Worth checking but I doubt the insurance companies would allow Ford to go back to keys that had the hack back door!

Excellent question, looking at those bargain bin keys I'm guessing No. I'm not going to harp on about the keys, others have done so much more eloquently than I could have, but it's embarrassing that the most expensive car I've ever purchased has the worst-looking key fob of any car I've owned in the last 15 years....and the fact the yanks have the same car but a more respectable fob really takes the biscuit. They already had better trim options, ford obviously thinks non-US customers will accept any old rubbish.

@portlandg and @Wonky_Donkey
Which insurance company you use?
I spoke with LV and they refused to insured Mach E because is to risky.
I'm with Admiral and have a multi car policy with them. Been with them for 4 years and would highly recommend them. My annual premium for my Kuga and my wife's Fiesta with business use is about £650 a year. My policy is due to be renewed in October and substituting my Kuga for the MME for the rest of the term cost me £116, which I thought was very good.

It is very good price. My quotes are between £310 to £400. For the same reason I try LV, because I have multi car policy there but looks like not any more.

I was with LV for the Kuga but I have tried online quotes with LV and you get through the whole process then at the end get a rude one line message saying they don't insure the car.

online comparison sites bring up other that do.

I did gocompare and compare the market and Admiral was very near the top of the list of both although remember your circumstances are probably different to mine. I was just intrigued to get a price

Ford has now officially established itself in the forum, (see my post in Norwegian OWNERS),
an source post by Ford, they write that they read and work with our forum, - very good, - Ford!

And I think they, and we probably need some structure to giv good Feedbacks, in addition to those that are searchable, and demanding tracker for Ford ... - but these are robot agents and keywords, - Right ?! FORD ?: :cool:

and good descriptions will probably be important ...

I think we'd better to explain to new people here that

PDI = Pre Delivery Inspection

PTI = technical software update done to our cars which has happened for some in Antwerp but not people like me and Grahame!
