Hi @ramcd which dealer are you using? @Dieeasysteve was Lisburn and believes that they have received 3 customer MMEs now. I'm Belfast (newtownards road) and they confirmed last week they have not received one customer car yet. Mine arrived antwerp 22nd April and was told on June 10th it was in Flushing but I am deeply suspect that it has not even reached UK yet.
I've been advised w/c 5th arrival to dealer. Holding breath I am not.?

I got an 'update' from my dealer today. Car is in Antwerp, expected by the end of July. So not really an update. Nothing I didn't know already. Im seeing mention of tapps, so I did that and the dates are today and yesterday, but i'll be honest, I dont really know what that means. If anyone can explain the tapps website and why its useful id appreciate that.
Hi there, in the absence of reliable info from Ford or the dealers (except Vista screen shots, which you can get from your dealer and show the latest progress and location), the data from the remote setup page (tappsDateTime and vehicleDateTime) are useful indicators of your car's movements.

tappsDateTime updates when someone enters the car, or if you send an activation request via the app. There also appear to have been some OTA updates/communication that have triggered all the cars to update their tappsDateTime in recent days, so it's not an exact science! It's probably most useful when you know your car is ready to leave Antwerp, and you're trying to track whether it's made it onto the next boat or not!

The vehicleDateTime seems to be a bit more erratic, but can be useful as if it's exactly 2 hours different to tappsDateTime, then it shows you're in Belgium, but on arrival in the UK they switch to one hour apart, because tappsDateTime is always GMT, while vehcileDateTime is the local time zone. They don't always update together though, so again confusing, although if you send an activation request is sometimes resets them both together, so you can see if your car has made it to the UK yet.

Hope that helps......probably more confusing lol.

Just had a look at a couple of Osprey charging charge points near to me. On the FordPass charging network card it is 42p/kwh. Before I went there, seeing a customer nearby, I thought I would check on the Osprey charging website. Glad I did, they only charge 36p/kwh for contactless. Just goes to show that it is best to plan your charging stops beforehand if you can and check prices.
So it’s more expensive if you use your FordPass charge card instead of just regular contactless debit card? Why is that not surprising? ?

I emailed Gridserve earlier today to ask if they had an up to date list of the Ecotricity chargers that they have already upgraded. I received the reply below.

We do have a map in development and being released very soon but until then, Zap-Map is the best resource to find our updated charge points. If you search for contactless payment, only the refitted ones will come up for you.

I went to Zap Map and set the filter to Gridserve Ecotricity and contactless payment and they have, according to ZapMap, upgraded quite a few so far. So hopefully charging on the motorway should be easier and more reliable. We will see.
Is this the same crappy key that everyone has?

certainly is

FordPass charging rates are a bit up and down depending on the network. On some they are seriously discounted compared to a membership (like Ionity), and on others they are more expensive (like BP Pulse & Osprey)

Definitely pays to check the pricing before using.

I think I may have found an issue with my car. The tailgate doesn’t stop closing when there is an obstruction. Ie arm head pet etc. Manual says car has sensors to detect obstructions but mine appear to be faulty. Anyone else had a problem.?
I put my arm out to check and it pushed it down but after putting a bit of resistance into it the tailgate stopped

Similar story for me - am finally going in to the dealer tomorrow to do a visual inspection and sign docs, then pick up next week. @SashaLondon hopefully the same for you if you can get hold of Matthew on Monday. They'll probably use my car to work out how to do the update!
Got mine on Tuesday from dealer in Perth. It's nice. He said the update took about two hours - the day before he said I was secind in line for the update and when I picked it up was told the first one didn't work so I was lucky.

Hi all

still in Skye starting home tomorrow.
Has been windy here today and there was a lot of wind noise. I know there was a lot of fuss initially with wind noise. I haven’t got a mme to compare with but my roof is about 3mm higher than windscreen see terrible picture. Is that normal?
