The £20 is a pre-authorization on your credit card which they don't take but will show up for 3 or 4 days. They will only take what you charged. I used the Gridserve Electric Forecourt in Braintree and few weeks ago and they did the same there. They had a sign on the charger to say that they would pre-authorize cards with the maximum allowed I'm surprised this wasn't on the charger you used.Instantly, Gridserve charged me £20 for the charge.
If your journey brings you up the M6 and onto the M56 you could use the new Gridserve fast chargers at Lymm Services.looks like I have a trip to Manchester Airport on Saturday, anyone know of a good and reliable EV top up close to the Airport, cheers.
I will be travelling from Hull to Manchester, I might be able to do the whole journey without a top up but I didn't want to risk it, only having the car for 5 days I haven't built up enough data yet to get an accurate range forecast, by the way I am driving a SR.If your journey brings you up the M6 and onto the M56 you could use the new Gridserve fast chargers at Lymm Services.
Apparently they are fantastic.
Lymm will not be too far out of your way Tony and they are the super fast chargers. ??I will be travelling from Hull to Manchester, I might be able to do the whole journey without a top up but I didn't want to risk it, only having the car for 5 days I haven't built up enough data yet to get an accurate range forecast, by the way I am driving a SR.
Not taking the p**S here but Aldi has a dent repair kit in the centre isle at the moment. Also does anyone know how much it costs to get dents out a door ?
Has the dent broken the paint and/or is there a sharp crease in the metal? If not, any reputable bodyshop will be able to pull out the dent using a glorified rubber sucker thing and you won't be able to tell the difference. I do feel for you. You go out of your way (literally) in a car park to minimise the risk and you get a k*******d parking next to you even in an empty car park. This has happened to me in the past. Perhaps they have to use an adjacent car to be able to park straight in a space? Also does anyone know how much it costs to get dents out a door ?
I can confirm that for me the battery disconnect fixed the door lock issue. Took 5 minutes (only remove one plastic panel and use a 10mm spanner.
Yep, had this since day one. Flickers on and off for a few seconds, every few minutes when using the navigation. Is anyone else getting this blue line on their drivers display when using the built in sat nav. I have no idea what it is nor do our friends in the US and presumably nor do Ford as I reported it to the tech guys via Hannah and have not heard anything back. I'm talking about the thicker line, I know what the thin blue line around the car is. It is not there all of the time. Just pops up randomly.![]()
