Sorry to go against the grain but my dealer has been marvellous with communicating. The only thing he has failed on is to send the customer satisfaction survey.

He said to me "I know you had a rough time getting your car but please remember I don't get a commission if I don't get 5 stars". So I am over the moon I haven't had the survey as he was actually rubbish in hindsight.

I completed the survey and gave 5 stars. Since then the dealer has not replied to my email asking for contact details at Ford to report faults and my emails regarding how the driver door button no longer works to unlock the car. Hannah was in those emails and has always replied.

Trev are you charging near to Crawley Down? Only asking because next year we plan to come up that way to see friends.
Park and charge is on ionity only and so i just use Beaconsfield and Cobham services to top up on the way home. I'm only on 3 pin plug charging at the moment!

I've had my first encounter with a rude petrol mustang owner. Told me mine shouldn't be called a mustang and he prefers his after we acknowledged him. Nice!

I've been following this thread for a while now while patiently (kind of) waiting for my MME to finally arrive, but its beginning to feel like it never will. It was ordered early March.
It's a company car, through a lease company and they can't seem to give me anything other than the VIN so I emailed Hannah today who said:

I can confirm it has been delivered to the compound where lease orders are processed. The vehicle is currently going through the standard vehicle checks, alongside registration and the finer details involved. The dealers will contact your lease company and they will give confirmation for delivery, to which you will then be contacted for a delivery date and time.

As a sidenote, some companies are using specialist delivery service, as the vehicle is classed as a performance vehicle. Sometimes the delivery slots can take from 2 weeks to 8 weeks plus, however this is completely dependent on the delivery service and Ford can't enforce any rules surrounding this.

I'm assuming they'll wait until Wednesday to register it but hopefully I won't have to wait too long after that?! Anyone out there with a lease vehicle already delivered? Did it take long once it arrived in the UK?

I wanted to get a bool liner, I don't want to go to my dealer as it's miles away from me. There are none available from the Ford website (probably never have been available either). I called a Ford dealer near me and they cannot order it as they are not a Mustang Mach-E nominated dealer. Find that strange they can't just order a part.....

Does anyone know if the ones on Amazon would fit as well?

Welcome to this den of iniquity!

At least your car is in the right country! I ordered mine not that long after yours, and I'm picking it up next Wednesday. Not Leased though so quicker.

This is what is in the back of my mind. This side of the deal has been excellent- but will the back up be the same?

Although are we being pessimistic? These forums are usually where disgruntled customers hang around. There's been loads of MME's sold - surely most are absolutely fine?

I do get spooked with all the tales of woe...
Tony - you’re picking up from Vospers in Plymouth, right? I got mine via Vospers in Exeter and can honestly say that Ryan and the team there were fantastic. Communication was very good and the handover was faultless - and I’ve had a check-in call from him since collection too. Will have had it 3 weeks tomorrow….. I’m sure Plymouth will be just as good as they use all the same back room services.

I odrered the one below and it fits fine. It’s obviously not top notch quality but it does the job.
Was posted out in a courier pouch all folded up so it’s taken a few days to straighten it out!?
Boot liner

Sounds like Vospers is a class act Geoff! Matt, my guy at Plymouth has been great. He phoned me every Monday morning to tell me the progress. Helped with ordering accessories (hope they'll be in stock, but not his fault if not), he also offered me a great deal on trading in my Toyota- and finally he pulled handover forwards by a day. No complaints from me!

I assume you've had no problems with yours and enjoying it?

No problems at all Tony. Only done about 260 miles in it so far and pretty much all local, so with a couple of free charges at the local Tesco whilst shopping I’m still showing 55% full and the GOM never seems to move - so yeah, very happy! Have Pod Point coming next Friday to install the home charger and I’ll be set..!
