So today is the day! I ordered my MME back in Feb last year and for various reasons it’s now only arriving TODAY!!!!!
First trip is a 900mile round trip to Cardiff and back for the rugby, wish me luck!!!
Excellent - should be a fun trip. If you're looking for good charging stops on the way down, I can highly recommend the MFG EV station near Wigan.

It's got a decent number of charging points and they're all 150kW.

After that as you come south it gets a bit more crap, to be honest, with the usual 1 or 2 chargers at various service stations. Our side of the country is not well served for EV charging at the moment from what I've been able to find. I live near Bristol but I head up north a few times a year because my wife's family are in Lancashire and Cumbria - I always use that stop to charge up.

There's also Lymm services. Pitiful compared to that image of the Wigan services though!

an email reply from Steeda UK today. hopefully we should see some aftermarket solution to the ride comfort issue.

very encouraging!

'Thanks for contacting Steeda and congrats on getting a Mach E and yes indeed we are currently at work on suspension upgrades for them so stay tuned to our Facebook pages and youtube pages etc….'

Exciting, also going to Cardiff (tomorrow) for the rugby (but by train). Was in Cardiff last summer in my MachE and availability of public charging points around Cardiff Is pants…so plan your journey accordingly!

Yeah it’s a weird one. Doesn’t appear if you search for it but it’s there on the map if you know where it is. Or just use the postcode: WN6 9RB

The only reason I found about it was because of a comment in Zap map on one of the chargers at Lymm services.

Yes, it is going in next week for the windscreen. I hope they sort out the software also. I put that in the comments.
Let us know how the windscreen replacement goes. I’m still nervous to take it in incase that mess something up.
I’ve not had any problems with the windscreen. So very reluctant to do anything.

Well, AEB saved me yesterday. Was signalling to turn right at a roundabout which was a turn right only lane, with a Renault Zoe in front of me which was also signalling to turn right. If you imagine it, I was at six o' clock, there were roads at 9 o'clock, 11 o'clock and 3 o'clock. The Zoe started to go forward indicating to leave at 3 o'clock. This was all at approx 10-15mph. (They were a bit slow). I started to follow and then they suddenly jammed on the brakes to give way to traffic on the left at the 11 o'clock road to let out a bus that wasn't even moving. Nobody moved from the 11 o'clock road as I imagine they were working out what to do. My car slammed on the brakes with beeps and red flashing displays. I sounded the horn as we were both stopped in the middle of a busy traffic island. They eventually moved off and then I was treated to some erratic driving from them switching between lanes at random in front of me. When safe to do so I used the Mach e power to overtake as I didn't know what they were going to do next.

Normally, I like uneventful journeys. :)

I did something yesterday (it was eventful) and accidentally switched the car off when stationary in D. I restarted later and the indicator was on P. I might have been imagining it but I thought I detected extra road noise from the rear and thought the rear brake might be sticking. I pulled over and switched on and off and thought I could still hear the noise. I travelled approx 18 miles and monitored the tyre pressures which only increased 2 psi equally all round. I did feel the wheels (o'er missus) when I got back home and they were just slightly warm but equal temp on front and rear. There was no burning smell although I did notice some light grooves in the rear discs that could just be felt by a fingernail. Do people think I've damaged something or am I concerned unnecessarily?

And another thing... I noticed that the passenger side door mirror has started to move in jerks when unfolding. Folding seems ok. Is this a dealer visit? I had this on my Mazda CX-5 and both door mirrors eventually stuck in an open position luckily and both replaced under warranty as known problem with lack of sealing and water ingress.

It will auto change from D to Park as a safety feature implemented after the Anton Yeltsin accident.
