I have good search but can’t decide between Pod point, Zappi and Andersen
Andersen looks great but cost double than others. Also don’t understand which one need earth rod and which can be instal without.

Not stupid at all. I have been researching this for over a year and I am still learning. Until you get the real thing to 'play' with it is all theoretical. What I have found out is that if you get a pod point wall box you can link it to the pod point app. As they are in Tesco's, Aldi and Lidl to name a couple and some are free you need the app to gain access to them. If I was getting a wall box charger I would get a Pod Point. But that's just me

When I bought my Prius PHEV a couple of years ago Toyota had teamed up with Chargemaster to offer a free supply and install of a home charge point.

I didn’t say no! So I have a 7Kw Type 2 socket on the garage wall now. I opted for one without a built in cable to give greater future flexibility- and have to say it works really well.

No fancy stuff - it just works.

Im sure you can still get this pretty much for free with the OLEV grant if you are looking for something practical but cheap.

Thanks that makes the pod point the main one to look at compared to the wall box then for me.

Well some update from Ford Uk at last........At least

For about 10 horrible minutes I didn’t think I was going to get that email - and then it arrived ??

So now we know a little more precisely when order conversion is happening for UK I feel like I can rest easy for a while. Not knowing was the worst!

Got mine too. Says by the end of November so it could even be sooner. That would be good

I have a very early January reservation date and got the email at 17:39 today.

I cannot serously believe that they would not have a pre Booker distribution list and it would not be ‘issue to all’ press send.
15th Jan reservation date no email.

I don’t trust any dates till the time they open the orders! Too many changes of the dates, months ets.
