I am stuck on 1.6 / 1.7 as you are, I have the car booked in on the 10th October to get the APIM updated (TSB 22-2166), hopefully it will be sorted after this!
I had mine booked in at Evans H Altrincham last week do TSB 22-2166. Despite telling them twice before the day they needed to order cables and network adapter they didn't do anything. They now are ordering the kit and will rebook me when they have it. So at least EH Altrincham should have the kit soon and will be practicing on my MME. @Tony.T you might consider using them if I recall correctly you live fairly close?

So booked in for 2nd service (36000 miles) Dealer said it doesn't need it as its only every 2 years. But the app says 18, 36k.... etc. If I wait until Feb 2023 then i'll be over 50K miles and i'm sure there must be some 'bits' (filters, etc.) need changing by then. Anyone had their second service or knows about intervals?

On the other hand, they emailed back to say they'll do all the updates and recalls, they'll valet and I can have the corporate Mach e for the duration, so things may be looking up!
Yes definitely now every 2 years. My FordPass has been updated with the correct service intervals. Has now got rid of such nonsense such as oil changes, and other fossil car related stuff which was included. I have a service plan so they are going to refund me some money.?

Lovely job, cheers. Didn't think about re-checking the App but as you say it now says every 2 years. Now all they have to do is sort the bumpy ride out, after 36K miles, although I'm used to it, for people who have never been in one, listening to their comments always amuses me! The wife has given up trying to do nails, etc... still love the car though!

Minenow with 37,500 miles mainly with half a tonne of tools & equipment so making a good ā€œworks vanā€.

My dealer is amazing, Sandicliffe Nottingham.

The Mach-e master tech there is the absolute best and I have access to him from time to time when I visit.

Had a long meaningful chat about the service intervals a couple of months ago when they first changed as it would mean they would not see mine for 60,000 miles.

It does, however, get a look underneath and checks by me when it goes in to Nottm Alignment Services a couple of times between services for 4-wheel alignment check & any adjustments necessary to maintain economy and ADAS accuracy.

Went through with Sandicliffe’s master-tech what actually needs doing on a service and, apart from daily/weekly checks we should all be doing on tyres, lights, glass & general condition there’s not a lot that could wear or break, only really a pollen filter to change and some other checks & updates so decided to get mine serviced again at 45,000 miles and then just before 60,000 miles before the warranty expires,

Whilst in for the contactor update I saw a report on the condition of all 94 cells across the 12 arrays in the battery and they seem to be holding up well.

Got my best fully charged range which disappeared for a 257 range albeit on a day when the ā€˜Stang took a caning under pressure one day.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! My dealer tried this and it didn't work! Think the APIM module needs replacing!

Does anyone have suggestions of where to buy a mongoose cable and 12v power supply for vehicle updates here in the UK? Both of these I can only really find in the US and shipping and the whole pound vs dollar is making those prices eye watering.

Get in touch with @Wonky_Donkey. He does his own updates so should be able to tell you where to get the necessary tools.

Gates of Harlow, had a poor experience back in Feb but to be fair it seems they listened so I'll give them another go.
Thanks. They are not too far down the road from me so if my local dealer in the south of the county doesn’t come up to the mark, I will try them?

That's got to be the highest mileage Mach E in the country, I'll have to get some mahoosive work jaunts in now to get near that!

Hi

I noticed you used Nottingham Alignment Centre. I've used these for years on my previous cars as a check and when something was "off". Did they have any issues driving on to the hoists etc? I presume you turned off one pedal drive? I've had tyres replaced by them (usually by Falkens of some description depending on tyre size etc). Have you had your tyres replaced yet and if so which ones? Historically I've always found Bridgestone tyres to be very noisy and Falkens quieter. The Bridgestone tyres on a former Skoda Octavia were so loud they used to give me a headache on longer journeys so I had to change them at only 8,000 miles to Falkens which were much quieter. I wonder if the road noise could be tamed when replacement is needed.

Cheers

So I’ve been away for a while and haven’t been keeping an eye on available updates or OTA’s, but I had an APIM update become available on FDRS for my 2022 RWD today.

A bit of a chunky 15Gb update that took a good while to download and install, but i’ve gone from my factory build of SYNC 21297 Rev 253 to SYNC 22228 Rev 539.

Here’s what I’ve noticed that’s different so far….

- Sync system is much more responsive and feels snappy..

- Apps screen is now split into two tabs - ā€œAppsā€ and ā€œEntertainmentā€. Apps has all the stuff we had before, and Entertainment is where a new selection of games are stored.

- On the Ford nav system the elevation is now finally displayed in feet instead of yards! That’s bugged me for some time - so pleased to see that fixed.

- Offline map updates and Nav version change from 1.57.55 to 1.66.51
