I know exactly what you mean, I get wifey banging on door when she can’t get in, maybe something in settings - auto lock, perhaps?
Yup, that's what is annoying. Also, leaving the car, closing the driver's door and then being unable to unlock the back door (without opening the driver's door first).

Just an "out there" question - why do you need your phone on display in a holder when you have Android Auto running, I don't have my car yet but was hoping/looking forward to using Android Auto so I didn't have to have the phone like that!

I have an OBD2 plug that I use with a car scanner app on my phone. It gives me various parameters that I like to keep an eye on, like HVB temp, real speed (not display adjusted speed), LVB SOC, HVB SOC/SOH, charging speeds. I tried with a mount in various positions out of sight but not really any good to see the phone. You don't HAVE to have the phone mount attached, it is only screwed on so you can just have the tray.

“Real speed” & “display adjusted speed” where do these come from?

This threads a bit quiet at the moment. Everyone O.K.? No issues at the moment? If so, no news is good news so they say... Just to spoil it I have another issue which I can't say much about until the dealer hears back from Ford.
How’s everybody’s rang ATM. Mines 282 at full charge on AWD ER, c75% of what they say I “could” get!

There is usually a difference between the vehicles actual speed and its displayed speed. It was the same on my 2 Kuga's. The displayed speed it what is on the drivers display, the actual speed is taken from the OBD plug in and is usually about 2mph lower than the displayed speed. GPS speed is about the same as the OBD speed. It just means that if the display shows 50 you are actually doing 48. I thought this was common knowledge. Perhaps not. This is why I set my speed limiter and intelligent cruise control with a +2mph variance

Better still, recommend an extension lead for the granny charger.
I got a 10m one with in-line RCD from tough leads, they have oversized socket housings to cope with granny charger socket/cable sizes. Bought to charge on holiday and did surprisingly well with public charging so never actually used it.

Every car in the UK, probably all in the world, have the speedo calibrated 5% below the actual speed, that’s why there’s a difference between the two, it makes sure no one is ever over the speed limit by mistake. But I wouldn’t guarantee that speed cameras aren’t the same, so on the motorway they could get you at an actual speed of 66.5mph.

Hi @Teslaeata

My range is about 310 - RWD ER ..... which is still pretty good ?

I am intruiged by your "Mach-E App" ?

Looks really good - and useful .... I like the fact it shows the car is locked (or unlocked!)

I've probably missed this somewhere on the forum, but would be great to know ...... I'm on Andriod, version 11, if that helps.

Many thanks,
David

It’s FordPass Pro. Good in some respects, probably better if you have a fleet but nicely different in others. Enjoy!

How are you getting 310 range, David-HC? Maybe you’re not hauling a tonne of tools and hammering it around the country?
