If only it were true ...

Non of my trips show up in FordPass, in fact they haven't done for months. Seems that the data that's generated is a bit useless anyway... Give it 30 years and perhaps by then we will reach this unicorn level of efficiency.I'll raise you.

I hate it when dealer service advisors make you sign an NDA.This threads a bit quiet at the moment. Everyone O.K.? No issues at the moment? If so, no news is good news so they say... Just to spoil it I have another issue which I can't say much about until the dealer hears back from Ford.

Was thinking the same!! Mine’s been in for bodywork having its battle scars & parking dents repaired for 3 days, rented a smoky oil burner to go to Glasgow & Bradford today on 525 mile round trip, now I’m absolutely certain I will NEVER go back to ICE, c£135 in fuel instead of c£47 in charge costs AND had to faff around with AdBlue? This threads a bit quiet at the moment. They gave you a dieseasel. ( I never ,ever thought I would quote Jeremy Clarkson, how things change, along with "Catch a bus, get a disease" ? ). That is bad with not enough Adblue. Was thinking the same!! Stopped to dine with the Colonel at Gretna, anybody on here charging their blue ‘Stang there around lunch time?
And another thing, they provided me, a forensic vehicle examiner who regularly condemns cars and their reckless sellers or owners for failing to maintain, an unroadworthy car. Will be introducing them to a particularly vigorous love making session with a rag-man’s trumpet later when I get me Stang back ?They gave you a dieseasel. Remembered the times I topped up with Adblue, with the filling lottery, Is that too much, will I get an overfill warning light, Is the Adblue contaminated? Plus, has the oil level risen too much indicating diesel in the oil with incomplete regens, when will the DPF fail etc etc. This was a Mazda CX5 well known for diesel diluting the oil.
I had this once yonks ago on an old betamax Ecotricity charger. Only other problem I had on the only occasion I ever managed to get onto an Ionity at Beaconsfield last week is that the blue charge lights started and then charging stopped……6 times when I gave up??Anyone else having the red ring of death when fast charging? 4 times now in the last 6 weeks, on Gridserve and Ionity? Last time, I switched chargers and still had it which was nice, made it home with 7 miles range left... Car is going in on the 24th for some TLC, is this anything to do with the conductor issue or just unlucky with my choice of chargers?
I think I recall reading something about this on this forum. If I recall correctly this is due to an earth fault and needs to be reset. This I think can be done via car scanner and an OBD II. Obviously if the fault is with the MME then this will fail again.Anyone else having the red ring of death when fast charging? 4 times now in the last 6 weeks, on Gridserve and Ionity? Acknowledging the delay in my response in comparison to your prompt response - some holidays distracted me!. Thanx for the pointer to settings, now playing with the feature to try resolve the annoyance - think it's compounded by he power status of the car at the different times when I'm trying to ensure that the non-driver doors are unlocked without my needing to press the door unlock button on the side of the door.I'm confused, doesn't take a lot on a Monday morning, by your question. You mention "open", "unlocked", "inside", "outside". There is a subtle difference between open and unlocked.
To get INTO the car you have to "open" the relevant door. This HAS to be done by pushing the button on the door pillar. The only way to have ALL the doors "open" when unlocked is to following afore mentioned procedure.
Now let me tackle what I THINK you mean. What you are trying to get an answer too is about the autolock/unlock feature that activates when you drive off and only deactivates when you stop and open the drivers door. You can turn this feature OFF by going to the following setting on the main screen.
Click the car icon on the top right, then settings, vehicle, locks, auto unlock and turn the indicator off.
