According to @SashaLondon's profile it's an AWD like yours.

Love that I keep getting called "the Donkey" - makes me chuckle every time LOL

I was sure we used to have some other UK forum members who had ordered First Editions. They seem to have disappeared though. Maybe they got bored and cancelled?

Still a few of us FE orders about. Waiting patiently for the 15th Dec before I contact my dealer.
Pre order date off 2.12.19 so hoping for early delivery.

Oh don't say that you'll upset @SJ_Okay ?
Iā€™m staying positive here... my theory is I trolled a Fanboy somewhere, one time and he happen to be quite handy at hacking and quietly infiltrated my order, pushing it to the very very last possible place. Now that Iā€™ve raised the issue with Ford, I suspect they will look into it and find my theory correct. Then in an attempt to appease me on the data breach and potentially trigger the hacker in an epic reverse troll, forcing him into revealing himself somehow (still to be theorised), they decide to offer me the first GT Performance Edition (in Cyber Orange) off the production line, for the same price as my AWD. Its obvious that this is what is happening.

Hey hey hey... we donā€™t need any of that negativity... cmon now. Iā€™m sorry I joked about taking your place in the queue.
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. It's been a long wait for us all but we're getting there.

I think you may be onto something there with the espionage theory ?

I love the Cyber Orange colour - wish it was available for other models and not just the GT. Maybe a wrap might be in order? Hmmmm....

Just received from my dealer

Good Afternoon,

I hope you are keeping safe and well?
I have had an update from Ford regarding your Mustang Mach-E.
I have been told by Ford that you will receive an email next week regarding your order. This email will contain information on funding your Mach-E, accessories and more! This will also contain the ability to confirm your order.
I have also specifically asked for information regarding amendments if you wish to make them. The number to call is 020 3562 4444. This number is for the CRC (Customer Relations Centre). You will need to call this number and press Option 3. They will handle any amendments should you wish to. However, I will still be your contact as the Mustang Mach-E Specialist for any other questions regarding your Mach-E order.
Should you have any questions, please do ask.

Many thanks

Saw this video on YouTube today - it gives a nice closeup look at a European spec RWD ER Mach-E.

You get to see what the standard alloy wheels and dark grey matte wheel arch trims look like, as well as seat stitching colour and interior detail. Also get a look at the standard LED headlights, which are better than I anticipated.

Youā€™ll just have to turn the sound down LOL

Paul, did you get that email because you had chased up your order or was that an automatic email out of the blue?

Steve
I have not contacted anyone Ford or dealer concerning my direct order since I pre ordered in January.
This email was the first from my dealer and completely unsponsored.
it would seem that the order process is more online as has been suggested. I will see what next week brings and whether the accessories page is up and running as for other European countries.

I think youre right Steve about online. My dealer said as much to me. Vast majority will be done online (finance, trade in, accessories etc). The dealers going to have next to nothing to do. I just need to know who I negotiate with. Donā€™t really want to try getting a Bot online to Chuck in free car mats, or a tank of fuel ??

Looks as if the first batch of MME's has arrived and been offloaded in Antwerp. I doubt whether these are customer cars but they might be dealer demos and hopefully some will be on their way to these shores for us to have a drive in.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he told me the same thing. We should be getting an email soon to confirm our order( although some of us have already had build dates). At the same time or shortly after we should then get invited to apply for finance. At this stage we should be invited to give details of any partex vehicle we have. Apparently Ford will be using an auction house to value your car. If you want to accept this valuation then when you go to collect your car the dealer will inspect the car and if ok it will go off to the auction house and the dealer gets nothing. He did say you dont have to accept Ford's price. Depends if your dealer will give you a better price. I think the only real work that the dealer is going to be doing in this process is taking delivery, PDI ing it and doing a handover.

Have seen the UK Gov have now added the Mach-E to their list of vehicles eligible for the Ā£3,000 grant: https://www.gov.uk/plug-in-car-van-grants
  • Ford Mustang Mach-E (AWD, Standard Range Battery)
  • Ford Mustang Mach-E (RWD)
Shame my FE (AWD, ER) won't qualify! :(

I've been checking a couple of times a week that it is appearing on comparison sites and LV. So far no change spotted. It only shows on comparethemarket so far.

Go compare have the MME listed but you have to select Mustang and select from there.

Not a cheap car to insure by any means and when I quoted for the RWD ER it came back even more expensive than the AWD ER. Didnā€™t understand that.

Checked the Polestar 2 out of curiosity and the quote came In at Ā£650 fully comprehensive for that.
