Tiny and not in field of view so should be repairable.

Does the heated front windscreen affect the repairability at all? Could the repair damage the internal “filament”?

Possible but unlikely and if it does damage the filament it only stops working on the one/s damaged so no real detriment.

I’ve had 2 screens replace due to BIG damage.

Occupational hazard covering high mileage??‍

Ford replaced first one free of charge as part of that windscreen recall on the early job 1 cars.

Rock came at me like a meteorite over Spaghetti in Brum leaving damage the size of your fist!

Second one’s only just been done under insurance by Autoglass; only small chip but a crack 3 feet long run across the screen?

I've had 3, all AFTER the windscreen replacement recall. All done by autoglass for £25. Heated screen doesn't cause any problems.

Probably a couple of weeks.

Told ‘em Ford can get screens overnight.

AG said I’m only insured to cost of non OE and could pay the diff.

Was happy to wait.

They never called me to book in when screen was in, it was me chasing which got ‘em to check if there’d been a “glass drop” as they called it and they offered me an appointmnent straight away??‍

Left me asking myself if ever they would've got back to me to book me in!

Took car to them, did it while I waited and the ADAS recalibrate which they said they’d need to do at depot was a dynamic recalib so could’ve done it mobile??‍

Got there in the end, except they screwed up, put my ‘phone number on somebody else’s account whose policy excess I also paid, you really couldn’t make it up!

Until recently i was using Youtube Music for my playlists while driving, phone would connect via Android Auto, got a little icon with song names, commands on the steering wheel for skipping and i was happy!
Yesterday i decided to play music from my Spotify, music started but when i wanted to skip a song my wheel control does nothing?
Had to skip a song on the phone when i got to the red light, but i want to eliminate that habit.
I tried to dig into various options on car and phone when i got home, but i couldn't find nothing.
Am i missing something? I get no song titles nowhere on the screen, steering wheel function is non operational and i don't have spotify icon on SYNC?

Is there no support for Spotify?

Spotify works seamlessly for me with Android Auto, inc steering wheel controls.

Ford can’t do it (supply or supply & fit) on insurance or they can’t do it at all?
