Use or lack of using the brakes don’t affect the hygroscopic effect of the brake fluid, go on, have it changed, avoid the risk of brake failure is my advice.![]()
In addition to the previous I double checked my paperwork and indeed it calls out the Brake Fluid as not being covered. Personally, I have my 2 year service next month and will decline the work as part of the overall service. With 1-pedal I've barely touched the brakes in two years.
Damn. I didn't know about this and bought 4 Michelins last Sunday online due to puncture in front and cut in a sidewall on the rear. Fitted at ATS yesterday so not an eligible garage. ?Just had an email from Michelin as they are doing a promo of up to £100 off set of 4 19" tyres, https://www.michelin.co.uk/promotions-michelin maybe of benefit for anyone thinking about getting some new ones soon or maybe you bought from the last 7 days at a participating garage
The brake fluid change cost me £45 inc the VAT was all??Must admit I don’t really get this? You’ll spend £50k on a car but not £200 after 2 years to keep it working?
They have. But they have also taken away the 4 year 0% finance. It is now 2 years. Any longer its 3.9%. So unless you can put down a sizable deposit the savings only work out to about £1500.I see prices have been reduced by £7,000
Should get a nice payout from Ford as a goodwill payment!Hi All
Been a while since I was on here, mind you been a while since I had my Mache!
In at the dealership for 8 weeks now.
had the dreaded contactor issue, now worries I thought I know what it is, called ahead to local dealer who were very helpful told me it would a couple of weeks as their two master EV tech were on holiday. OK fair enough, not great but ok.
Got a call the following seeking saying they had hooked it up and it also needed a 12v battery.
Now follow the ridiculous, there was no part number to order for a 12v battery, the old part number had been removed and no new one but they were chasing ford….
Another week no update still no part number
I raised a case with Ford customer relations, there are on it, few I thought!
6 weeks later and constant chasing, they have a new part number, hooray!
But there is no eta as the old ones were manufactured in the UK and the new ones in Germany…
The saga continues, I will let you know how it turns out!
HiShould get a nice payout from Ford as a goodwill payment!
Yep, mine was in for 5 weeks, had a Kia hire car, they refunded the total cost of the fuel and a goodwill payment on top, I ended up with over £700. Dealer wasn't interested so had to go through [email protected] they were excellent to be fair.Hi
Not sure how much as yet, have you had any experience with this?
Mine was loose. Just tight and no problem for last few months.Anyone had any issues with the rear indicator light cluster, the piece on the actual boot? My left one is loose at the pointy end, pulls off about an inch and half, still works.
Edit - just found this thread on this issue, never noticed it before

Hi and welcomeHi guys,
Here goes my first post.
I'm very close to ordering the Select Model with Tech Pack.
Just wanted to get some info on purchasing.
Did anyone able to haggle down the price a bit?
Any extra freebies?
What places can I check to get the dealer to price match?
Is Ceramic Worth getting on Black colour model?
Thanks
