Wow, any idea what your battery life is now you’re nearing 80k miles? How long you planning to keep Stangy with the battery warranty running out at 100k miles?

See attached for stats for 74,055 mile because this half-arsed forum format screws up the layout when saved.

Fuel saving over ICE vehicle returning 48miles per gallon is c£3,750 which is 36%.

If it were possible to do all mileage on home charges which it is not, charge costs would have totalled £4,062.72 which would save £2,679.57 eliminating DCFC costs or £6,428.41 less than the ICE car.

That’s pretty good. What %age do you charge to at home? Do you charge to 100% knowing you’re going to be dropping it below 80% the next day, and to reduce the cost of DCFCing?

I go to 100% virtually every charge at home.

The very odd time I know I’m not going out the day following a charge, I will set my 3-phase ABB 22kW charger to stop charging around an hour earlier than I think it would reach 100% which probably stops it at around 90%.

Never leave it at 100% charge in garage after an overnight charge is the only rule I charge by.

Just charged to 100% overnight and pre-conditioned car & battery to take a load of readings ?

No major trauma going on with the readings.

Probably keeping til it drops.

Battery don’t cause me any anxiety, I’m a Level 4 EV Technician and understand that if anything happens with the “battery” it’ll probably only need an array, of which there are 12 I think, changing not entire battery.

After a trip to MK Dons on Boxing Day, decided to let the train take the strain and as it was yet another defeat, that worked out well! You are doing well on the mileage, I'm only at 67K... I must try harder! Hopefully I'll get another 10K on by end of Feb then should be up to 80K by April I reckon

Quick question about car location and intelligent octopus - would put it there but more likely to get seen here? My car always says it is next door in the ford app - we live at 29 and it shows 31. We want to go with IO, but I believe it is dependant on the car being at "home" so given the anomaly would it not work properly? I know I read something on here aout re-setting it to accurately show you are at home, but cannot find it using the search function. Anyone kind enough to point me in the right direction or explain please?

My experience is that the geolocation of the car isn’t that specific for IO to work. Despite having pin accurate map locations for my house the car still occasionally moves from #4 to #7 which is across the street. My IO still works fine.

You need to advise Octopus and they advise Ford but of course you will need to ask Ford to unblock your FP account also.
