RE: Financing

If any of you are homeowners and may struggle with the monthly over 4 years, you could always look to borrow against the mortgage... depending on your length and rate. We have a very low fixed interest rate on the house and looked at this option, which worked out to be ridiculously cheap... only added just over £100 to the monthly mortgage.

In the end, we’ve decided to go with 36 months with the maximum deposit possible... only as I am quite keen on trading up to a GT at the end of 36 months... but borrowing against the house can help you get that lower monthly over longer period.

I think the RWD in an electric vehicle is never going to be as bad as the motor is mounted on the rear axle rather than at the front. Also you have the batteries in the floor making the vehicle a lot more balanced.

Sounds like a great option but not sure it works for me. Just bought our house and at 90% LTV I'm not sure it would work? What do you think?

Hello

I think I also noticed on a french thread that their confirmation deadline was the same as ours and has since increased by a week. Perhaps they has loads of cancelled orders.
I see the Uk deadline is now 18/1.

I did think to do that. My mortgage rate is only 1% above base rate so is ridiculously cheap. My problem I have to remortgage in 2022 so might end up paying more so I too will go for 36 months

Where did you see that?
It is under the No. 2 ’order‘ bubble in the Ford account timeline. The bubble is still blue and the activity not moved to ’in production‘ yet

I haven't got that. Since I confirmed my order the bubbles have gone from 7 to 4. 1 is your order, (which is blue), 2 is in production ( which should be blue because it's been made), 3 is on its way, and 4 delivery.

If your bubbles haven't reduced to 4

Your order

In production

On its way

Delivery

Then you haven't confirmed your order.

That is now my belief. Havng input the texted online signing code and having the completed order form presented I thought that was process completed. There seemed to be no further stage.

These pesky bubbles. First it was support bubbles, then it was Christmas bubbles and now we’ve got order bubbles!?

2020 has got a lot to answer for... ? #yearofthebubble
