Yes, lots of options like that one but we're back to guessing again.
Yes, that was the point of my original question.

It seems that no one (that will share the info) knows how many have been built since the Nov. Production Report, and how many are actually stacked up, and where.

Let's hope that the new satellite photos shed some light.

At least we know one thing, they are making them faster than they can ship them! ;)

All indications are that production is proceeding without significant delay now. Only shipping challenges. So we should be able to project that Nov Production Report for a fair estimate of how many are rolling off (perhaps even more as the pace is likely increasing).

Looks to me like they could fit 6000+ onsite if they took over employee parking too, so I don't think lack of space would cause them to slow production. And as others have said, renting offsite space is a pretty easy option too if needed.

So here is a question for those reading this lengthy, and wandering, thread:

Has anyone with a CA Rt 1 had their cars built yet? (My suspicion is that since no EPA ratings Ford may be holding off on this model until they tweak it just right--you know 327 miles +1 over Y LR.)
My CA Rt 1 build week was moved from 12/14 to 12/20 (yes, I realize the first date was a Monday, the second date a Sunday - Let's start a new thread on that!). Dealer said that he cannot bring up an invoice yet, come back in a couple of weeks to talk Options terms.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to transport them to a central depot in the US and hold them there? Think about the FedEx model.

I think that's the main problem though - long distance transport arrangements from the plant in the Mexico City area to the US. It's over 800 miles just to get to San Antonio. 1100 to El Paso.

There have been reports they're trying to get most of them up to Kansas City as a central US point, then ship from there.

Not just plants: Local dealerships here in Michigan also dump/put their overflow in mall and spare lots.
Ford Land owns a LOT of property in Dearborn. Fairlane Town Center mall is Ford Land -- so they sometimes just use that.

They do but I was thinking of dealerships outside of Dearborn ;)

One in Novi comes to mind, currently has a nearby strip mall filled with Escapes.

I've also seen a Chevy dealer in Plymouth fill Rivian's parking lot with Chevy's.

Some GM dealership stores their Escalades in the gravel lot next to suburban showplace in Novi as well

Yea, still thinking I should have gone with that, just couldn't pull the trigger without seeing it in person. Nice pic, more please.

Good contrast of the white protective film and the space white paint.
