I get that, and I'm not asking anyone to reveal anything more than they're comfortable sharing, especially if it's insider information. Hell, I'm not giving out my VIN and my profile is pretty sparse, and I'm just some guy. And you're right, I am new here. But so is everyone else. It's hard for me to personally validate anyone when the oldest accounts on the forum are from early this year.

All that I know for myself is that I had one of the earliest build dates (that people elected to share publicly) and that so far I haven't seen anything to imply that the time after trutolife27's post is any different than the time before it. What I'm saying is that we're going on some other internet person's word, while nobody has been able to post a shot of a shipping date or anything similar.

I'm not going to gatekeep the OKTB hype train, everyone who wants to should get right on board. Personally, I'm going to take it with a grain of salt until my own desire for corroborating evidence is satisfied. If you don't like my take on it, I won't be offended if you ignore me. I'm just some guy on the internet, and I wouldn't take my word as fact without proof either.

Realistically we should be educating the dealers. Any salesman who wants to be an expert on the Mach E just needs to join this forum.

The only dealer I have ever been in where the salespeople genuinely cared about the cars is Porsche - everyone in the dealership was a complete professional from the way they dressed to the way they treated customers, and the salespeople were very well educated about the product. Anyone that has seen a Porsche options list can appreciate how hard it is to keep all those options straight.

Every other car I have ever bought, the salespeople were generally a very unknowledgeable and disinterested bunch; and they were more interested in saying whatever it took to get a sale than to actually give the customer what they need/want. The fact of the matter is that these guys don't care about what they are selling, they are just there for the commission. Next week they may be selling mattresses, tires or whatever else.

Here's the real question: are you going to triple down on your disbelief of OKTB having happened and the cars are shipping, or are you going to accept the information and corroboration that's been given and move on? Hint: the right answer is to accept it as factual and move on.

Exactly. There are pictures of vehicles being loaded on rail cars...do people on here think they would go through the trouble of staging this, or photoshopping it to satisfy a few people on an internet forum?

@theblueone, please bear in mind that these forums pretty much began in late 2019 after the product announcement event on 11/17/2019, so many of us 'newbies' have been on them since last December or January. I, like others, can vouch for @trutolife27 or @ChasingCoral and the invaluable information they've provided throughout 2020. It's okay to be skeptical, but trust when multiple posters are telling you what these individuals are telling you is in fact the truth. They've been better than Ford in most cases in keeping us informed what's happening in Cautitlan.

There's no upside to Ford falsely claiming that cars are shipping and posting numerous erroneous pictures to Social Media. That wouldn't just backfire or explode Wile E. Coyote style, it would destroy all credibility for a very long time. Further, the Mach-e team has consistently made conservative promises, set conservative goals, and then (for the most part) over-delivered. This disbelief simply doesn't make sense @theblueone.

Skepticism of the internet is a good thing. Carry that to an elaborate scheme of a fake media campaign to make us think our cars are on the way is beyond skeptical, it's descending into the ludicrous zone. A bunch of cars are on the way. Yours, if built, will follow. Sooner rather than later, maybe not as soon as many would like, but they're released and available for shipment.

As for the Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco CD Projekt Red, that wasn't lying or blowing smoke. That was a disconnect between the Board and the professional staff. There's a huge difference between them and Ford-- ask Darren Palmer.

What would be better is ignoring all but like 5 people. Then this giant thread would be 10 pages of good info instead of 4 billion pages of nonsense.

In a serious note, this forum is much better after ignoring two key individuals.
