Same boat...Lease ended Nov 30. Thankfully I have a great dealer loaning me a car as we all twiddle our thumbs a little faster with each new delay. One of the reasons I talked myself into it was that the timing was PERFECT pre-covid. We have a lease that expired on 12/19. It would dovetail perfectly with that end of lease I thought. Then Covid. I have extended that lease two times now.
And for those who hate dealers . . . when I told the dealer now in Feb I would have to get new plates for the lease car (my car is on the way and has a 3/3-3/9 window) he said he would GIVE me a loaner until the car comes in. How about THAT? Not all dealers are bad.
